Disney launches stunning wedding dress collection so you can dress like a princess on your big day

IF YOU'VE long dreamed of having a fairytale wedding then now is your chance, because Disney has launched a new line of princess-inspired wedding dresses – so you can actually be a real-life princess on your big day.

The magical designs were brought to life by Allure Bridal, who have announced 16 stunning bridal designs for future brides to choose from.

And there's no better time to snap one up since weddings will once again be allowed to commence in England from Saturday – hooray.

The out-of-this-world collection is far better than we could ever imagine, and features gowns inspired by Disney princesses Aurora, Jasmine, Cinderella, Pocahontas, Rapunzel, Princess Tiana, Ariel and Belle.

But how could you possibly decide which Disney princess you want to become?

If you were particularly taken by Princess Jasmine's striking appearance, then the princess-cut gown featuring luxurious Mikado fabric might be the one for you.

With an embroidered and sparkling beaded bodice and buttons down the length of the gown, jaws will no doubt drop with this "rich and elegant tribute"- it also features a detachable train which is ideal for the night ahead.

It might not surprise you, however, that Ariel's bridal dress features nothing other than a mermaid hemline.

It also features a "ruffled skirt that moves as gracefully as the ocean's tide," according to Disney Weddings, adding: "Ariel perfectly embodies the bride who is willing to cross oceans for love."

But if you consider yourself more of a modern day Disney princess, than perhaps Tiana's simple, yet elegant gown is the right choice for you.

According to the gown description, it "embodies both Tiana's practicality and creativity" and is covered in shimmering vines and blossoms and features a full skirt for the ultimate princess feel.

For many of us, though,Belle was the ultimate Disney princess,so it's no surprise that the magical gown is described as "pure elegance" by the bridal company.

The elegant ballgown features an off-the-shoulder design with lace and a full skirt which will have you waltzing your way through the evening.

Unfortunately for us Brits though, the collections seems to only be available in boutiques across North America, with the the Platinum collection available exclusively in Kleinfeld Bridal stores in New York and Toronto.

Dresses will be available in sizes 0 to 30 with prices starting at $1,200 (£921) – but can get pretty pricey with an eye-watering $10,000 (£7,861).

The price however, will reflect materials with extensive crystal beading, pearls, hand-embroidered applique and delicate sparkle tulle incorporated.

But with travel restrictions still in place for many across the globe, and major changes required at wedding to ensure social distancing, we might have to put this idea on hold for just a little longer.
