TikTok user Hayley Lombard posted a how-to video on the platform this week about cleaning diamond engagement rings and wedding bands.

The Arizona-based fitness influencers said the cleaning trick will have your jewellery looking like brand new in minutes using just a tooth brush, Windex and water.

At first, she mixed equal parts water with any glass and hard-surface cleaner, such as Windex, in a bowl.

The cleaning fan then put the bowl into the microwave for 20 seconds to heat up the mixture.

Once out of the kitchen appliance, she placed her precious pieces into the cleaning blend and left for 10 minutes.

After the diamond rings have soaked, Hayley grabbed a tooth brush and gently scrubbed around the stones to ensue any dirt was gone.

She finished the process by drying the rings, which looked brand new as they sparkled in the sun.
