Binky Felstead’s health secret revealed by the man behind Made In Chelsea star’s fit figure

While many of us have been mainlining carbs during lockdown, Binky Felstead has taken her fitness crusade to a whole new level.

The 29-year-old showed off her incredible quarantine bod – in lacy lingerie – on Instagram last week and now we can exclusively reveal how she’s done it.

Binky’s secret weapon is personal trainer Tyrone Brennand – who’s also worked with Mollie King and Lottie Moss. He was hired by the then gym-shy Made In Chelsea star back in 2014.

He tells us Binks was motivated from the start. “It was hard because of the level of fitness and lack of strength she had, but she was determined and consistent,” explains Tyrone. “Even though she wanted to kill me at times, she stuck with it for years and now she’s at a place where she’s inspiring others.”

Tyrone says he usually works out with Binky “three to four times a week”, revealing, “We do a mixture of cardiovascular work, circuit training and weights – often using her own body weight.”

And he says that lockdown hasn’t stopped Binky’s training. She juggles exercise with looking after three-year-old India – her daughter with ex-boyfriend and former co-star Josh Patterson.

“Binky puts India down for her nap at midday, so we do our Instagram Live workouts at 12.30,” continues Tyrone. “When we can get in the gym, we use all the equipment, but we’re trying to make it as accessible as possible so all the workouts are on the mat. We haven’t really changed her regime, we’re just training in a different way – adapting to circumstances.”

Despite her enviable figure, Tyrone tells us even Binky has off weeks just like the rest of us. “If she hasn’t exercised for a week, she feels like she’s slipping, which is totally normal. But she’s at the stage in her training where she’s able to get back into the routine quicker because of muscle memory.”

And while she sticks to a healthy diet, she won’t deny herself the occasional treat – usually her favourite takeaway. “Sometimes when we’re training she’ll say, ‘I fancy a curry’ but I’ll steer her to reward goals, like, ‘If you keep doing well till the end of the month, then have it,’” Tyrone adds. “She’s her own woman and she takes care of herself.”
