Bruce Springsteen is gearing up to join American Celtic Punk band Dropkick Murphys to stream a live show from Boston’s Fenway Park on May 29.
While the Dropkick Murphys will be physically present at the ballpark, Springsteen will join the stream from a remote location, and the duo is set to perform one song each from their individual catalogs.
“That’s right. We are gonna be the first band in history to play right on the dirt and grass of the infield diamond – and we will be doing it free – for you, the best fans in the world,” the band shared on Facebook.
Titled “Streaming Outta Fenway,” the live show will be free but the musicians are asking their fans to donate to the Boston Resiliency Fund and Habitat for Humanity Greater Boston and Feeding America, two non-profit organizations that are putting “their donations to work now – to help real people in need,” they said.
The show will be streamed on May 29 at 6 PM ET.
