The Four Chord Music Festival, which was originally slated to take place on July 11, 2020, has been postponed to the summer of 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
“We have been following the COVID-19 pandemic very, very closely over the last month and tried everything humanly possible to keep the original date,” organizers said in a statement. “But after consultation with local and state officials, we feel that postponing the festival is the responsible thing to do. We do not want to play any role in the spreading of the virus.”
The festival organizers have also revealed that all the acts scheduled to perform at this year’s event will be in attendance next year as well, including headliners Blink-182 and The Used.
State Champs, Four Year Strong, and The Ataris are also scheduled to perform along with new addition Mayday Parade.
Tickets purchased for this year’s festival will be honored for the rescheduled event.
