Gordon Ramsay shared a touching tribute to his daughter Megan, as his eldest child turned 22 years old.
The chef posted a photo of him hugging Megan, captioning the snap: ‘Happy Birthday to this gorgeous lady, 22yrs ago today this gracious kind and incredibly talented young girl was born, have a great day Megan love ya Dad.’
While this birthday might be a little different than normal due to the lockdown measures imposed during the coronavirus pandemic, at least the family will all be spending it together.
They have been isolating at their beachside property in Cornwall, which has caused some controversy with the locals.
People were told not to visit their second homes during the lockdown, due to the risk of infection spreading to different parts of the country.
However, Gordon hasn’t let his neighbours’ complaints get him down, as he has been keeping his fans updated with what the family have been doing since being in quarantine.
We’ve no doubt he will have a pretty elaborate meal prepared to celebrate Megan’s big day today – well, if your dad’s a chef, it would be rude not to, right?
Several of Gordon’s celebrity pals also sent their wishes for Megan’s birthday on his post, including footballers John Terry and Robbie Keane, as well as David Beckham.
Gordon and his wife Tana Ramsay share five children, with Megan being the eldest followed by 18-year-old Matilda, 20-year-old twins Jack and Holly and Oscar James, one.
The family have been making the most of their time together by all isolating together during the lockdown.
While it might have irked some of their neighbours in Cornwall, it definitely comes in handy when there’s a birthday to be celebrated.
We can’t wait to see what Gordon’s got on the menu for Megan’s birthday dinner.
