Strictly Come Dancing star Janette Manrara, 36, took to Instagram yesterday to share an adorable throwback picture of her parents. The American professional dancer, who grew up in Miami, posted the old photograph to mark her mum and dad’s wedding anniversary, much to the delight of her fans who noticed a striking resemblance.
Janette, who is married to Strictly co-star Aljaz Skorjanec, captioned the post: “Happy wedding anniversary to a couple that inspires my own marriage every single day.
“37 years and counting!” she went on to tell her 336,000 followers.
The professional dancer signed off: “I love you mon and dad!”(sic)
Janette, who joined the cast of the BBC ballroom dancing competition in 2013 – the same year as her now husband – got engaged to Aljaz, 30, in 2015 and married the dancer two years later.
Instagram users and fans took to the comments section to congratulate the couple and point out the family resemblance.
“Happy anniversary Mr and Mrs Manrara. Janette you are so like your dad,” said one social media user.
Sharing a similar thought, another fan added: “Wow what a handsome couple…. You look so much like yr papa.”(sic)
Agreeing, a third added: “You are your daddy’s double!”
Even Janette’s former dance partner Dr Ranj Singh, made an appearance in the comments section, adding: “Awwwwww! Happy anniversary Mama & Papa Manrara!”

Earlier in the week, Janette posted another throwback picture showing herself as a child with her dad Luis to mark Father’s day.
Alongside the adorable photo she wrote: “Today is Father’s Day!! Came out of my digital detox to share this legend that is my dad @luismanrara!
“I’ve always been a ‘daddy’s girl’ and no matter how far away I always will be,” she went on to say.
The Latin dancer signed off: “He is my best friend, my Prince Charming, and my first dance partner! I love you dad!”
