Jeanine Ann Roose, who is best known for playing Violet Blick in It’s A Wonderful Life, has died aged 84 according to reports. The actress is said to have died at her home on New Year’s Ever after she suffered an infection in her abdomen.
The on-screen star had been suffering health issues for the past few months, according to TMZ.
The former child actress played Little Violet Bick in the iconic holiday movie, released in 1946, which also starred James Stewart as George Bailey.
Tributes have poured in on social media for the beloved child star.
Twitter user, Lion Tamer wrote: “Surely one of the last to survive that film, but what a film and what a cast. RIP Jeanine Ann Roose.”
Sheilagh penned: “RIP Jeanine Ann Roose – Little Violet.”
“My favourite Christmas movie, ‘Every time you hear a bell ring – an angel gets its wings.’ RIP, Violet,” Butterfly commented.

Jeanine worked as a child actor in the 1940s is most famous for playing Little Violet in It’s a Wonderful Life.
