The 2020 Latin Grammys are upon us!
The annual award ceremony, formed to recognize outstanding achievement in the Latin music industry, airs on November 19 on the Univision network, and the nominees were just announced on Tuesday (September 29).
Three massive reggaetón stars – J Balvin, Bad Bunny and Ozuna — lead the way with the nominations.
J Balvin has the most, earning 13 nominations at this year’s event, and he is also nominated twice alone in the Record of the Year category for his song “Rojo,” as well as being featured on Anuel AA‘s “China.”
Bad Bunny follows with nine nominations, including two nominations in the Album of the Year and Best Urban Album categories for YHLQMDLG and Oasis with J Balvin.
Ozuna is nominated for eight awards, including Best Reggateon Performance, where he is nominated for both “Te soñé de nuevo” and “Si te vas” with Sech.
There are also two new categories: Best Reggaeton Performance and Best Rap/Hip-Hop Song. Check out the full nominees list at Grammy.com.
