Love Island’s Hugo Hammond splits with Team GB girlfriend amid cheating claims

Love Island star Hugo Hammond has parted ways with his girlfriend Team GB athlete Molly Wilkins after he was accused of cheating on her.

The pair, who officially announced their relationship back in June, have now unfollowed each other on social media, with friends of the star even claiming he’s blocked the triathlete on both Instagram and TikTok according to The Sun.

A source close to the couple, told the publication that “Molly started getting messages from random girls saying they’d kissed Hugo on a night out or slept with him.”

“She had to find out from comments on a TikTok video that Hugo had been kissing and messaging other girls behind her back.”

They then went on to say that Molly had been so “furious” about it, that she decided to end their relationship, with the source claiming that Hugo has been “begging her to take him back.”

Up until now, the pair had seemed fairly solid, with Hugo even flying Molly out on holiday with him, and meeting his family.

According to the insider, "He denied sleeping with other girls, but admitted he did invite one girl back to his hotel room.”

OK! have reached out to Hugo’s rep for comment.

The split comes one year after former PE teacher Hugo, 25, failed to find love in the Love Island villa, despite coupling up with four of the bombshells, Sharon Gaffka, Chloe Burrows, AJ Bunker and Amy Day.

After failing to find romance, Hugo was finally dumped from the villa on day 38 of the competition after Casa Amor concluded and his fellow villa mates decided he had been given enough chances to find love.

The star is currently said to be taking some “time away” from social media, after former Apprentice contestant Lottie Lion accused him of “screaming at her in a club” after she snubbed his advances.

Hugo has always categorically denied the claims.

It isn’t the only controversy to surround the reality star either, after he was also the subject of an allegation made be his former co-star Sharon Gaffka, after she accused him of “inappropriate touching” and making jokes about her being spiked.

The claims were made during a podcast interview with Grace Keeling earlier this year, but once again Hugo has always strongly denied the allegation and even took to social media to defend himself.

“Firstly, spiking is not a topic I use within jokes nor do I find funny, it’s horrific to be honest. I wouldn’t joke about someone being spiked, it’s just not who I am, friend or not,” he wrote.

Hugo then continued: “The wild comment made around inappropriate touching is outrageous and simply false, to say something like this is seriously damaging and paints an unfair picture of me. You cannot just throw that sort of language around.”
