The stars of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are paying tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman, who starred in the Black Panther movie as T’Challa.
Chadwick sadly lost his battle to colon cancer, his team announced on Friday (August 28), and the tributes are pouring in from all over the world.
Among the first stars of the Marvel franchise to speak out are Brie Larson, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Dave Bautista, Don Cheadle, Angela Bassett, Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, and Taika Waititi.
Brie wrote in a statement, “Chadwick was someone who radiated power and peace. Who stood for so much more than himself. Who took the time to really see how you were doing and gave words of encouragement when you felt unsure. I’m honored to have the memories I have. The conversations, the laughter. My heart is with you and your family. You will be missed and never forgotten. Rest in power and peace my friend.”
