Zara Tindall's husband, former England rugby captain, Mike Tindall received a not-so-Royal welcome when he wasn’t recognised as a guest on the guest list at an art exhibition in London.
The I'm a Celeb star, 44, arrived at the Clarendon Fine Art Gallery in London's Mayfair for an exhibition where the doormen had trouble recognising the royal, which led him to check the guest list.
As the doorman checked for Mike on the list, the royal politely waited for the go-ahead and seemed to find the faux pas funny.
It also looked as though Mike offered a helping hand by taking look at the guest list himself to speed things along.
Hopefully, Mike won't go unrecognised when it comes to the King’s coronation this weekend as he will likely be attending with his wife Zara, 41, and their three children: Mia, nine, Lena, four and two year old Lucas.
The art exhibition incident comes after Zara opened up in a candid interview and discussed the difficulties of juggling a career and children.
The busy mum of three explained that it can be a “real struggle” to do everything that she needs to.
She said: “I think trying to fit everything in can be a real struggle… I don't think it's just me but what you do find hard as a mother with kids [is] trying to make sure that you spend the right amount of time and quality time with the kids as well as have a career and fit everything in around it is something that you think about every day.”
Husband Mike also recently opened up about Zara’s struggles and said that she “punishes herself” because she goes to work and doesn’t want to leave her children.
He went on to say: “Her passion her compassion, her dedication I think they are the foundations of any great mother, it's just born in."
The royal duo won’t be slowing down this weekend as the family will likely be in the midst of the coronation celebrations.
Zara’s mother, Princess Anne will feature in King Charles' glittering procession to Buckingham Palace after he has been crowned.
Anne will ride on horseback behind the gold state coach carrying the newly crowned King and Queen Consort as they travel down The Mall.
The Mirror reported Charles has given his younger sister the prominent role during the historic day in recognition of her service.
