Steve Martin tips his hat to passersby while heading to a film set in New York City on Thursday afternoon (December 3).

The 75-year-old actor brought a sacked bag with him as he walked onto the Only Murders in the Building set on the Upper Westside.

For his very first day on set, Steve shared a selfie with his fans, with him wearing a bright yellow face mask.

The series, with Selena Gomez and Martin Short, “surrounds three strangers who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. When a murder occurs in their NYC apartment building, they are forced to work together to figure out what happened.”

The comedy show is expected to premiere in 2021 on Hulu.
