As the country remains in lockdown, finances are tight and cleaning is more important than ever in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. So Britons will be pleased to know that they don’t have to spend big to thoroughly clean products in their homes. In the latest reviews from Which? Best Buys, Aldi scooped three accolades for its household cleaning range.

Which? tests thousands of products a year in order to help consumers find the best value for money.
The independent body reviews and investigates products and services to put them through their paces and see which ones are worth buying.
In its latest household cleaning category, Which? gave three of Aldi’s products the green light as Best Buys.
The budget supermarket was applauded for its dishwasher tablets and laundry products.

Aldi’s Magnum Original All in One Dishwasher Tablets, £2.99, were given rave reviews by the independent group.
Which? commented that they were “the best dishwasher tablets we’ve tested”, as well as rewarding them for “the tablets’ ability to remove all types of food stains, from dark tea marks to tough grease.”
The value pack of 40 dishwasher tablets cost just 7p per wash.
The laundry products in the Almat range also received high praise from the group.

Aldi’s Almat Bio Super Concentrated Laundry Liquid, £1.79, was announced a Best Buy as testers said it was “one of the best we’ve tested at lifting everyday stains.”
Which? commented that it was the cheapest liquid or gel they had ever tested, at just 7p per wash.
The liquid also has customers’ approval, with positive reviews on the Aldi website.
It was in good company too, as the Almat Bio Powder Washing Powder, £2.99 was named as another Best Buy product.

Which? testers said the laundry detergent was good at “keeping white items looking bright.”
It also scored highly for grease and oil stain removal.

“At Aldi, we’re committed to providing high quality products at amazing prices, and it’s great to see the high standard we strive for prove itself through rigorous, informed testing processes.”
The three products are currently out of stock online, but Aldi customers can find Almat and Magnum ranges in store when doing their weekly shop.
The Which? Best Buy seal of approval is important for brands and consumers alike, as it is a trusted review system that many people look to in order to spend their money more wisely.
The company can label products as a Best Buy or a Don’t Buy based on how it scores in the testing.
According to Which? the products have to meet certain criteria: “Our coveted Best Buy logo is awarded only to the very best products in any given category. We award it to products and services which have satisfied or exceeded specific criteria based on the results of rigorous comparative tests and analysis carried out by Which? experts.”
