Billionaire Scott Shleifer Pays Record-Breaking $122.7 Million For Florida Mansion

Its an understatement to say that Scott Shleifer has more money than majority of us will ever see in a lifetime. Shleifer earned his massive sea of wealth in a partnership with the major investment firm, Tiger Global. The company raisied $3.75 billion within a recent  venture fund called Tiger Private Investment Partners XIV . The savvy businessman has now purchased a stunning seaside mansion in Palm Beach, Florida for a mind blowing $122.7 million.

Along with the bragging rights of having one of the most lavish estates in the area, Shleifer – who reportedly had a $1.5 billion year in 2020,” broke records by having the most expensive home purchase in the state’s history. This sort of feat is surely expected for someone who’s ranked #41 on Forbes’ Midas Top Tech Investors of 2020.

Registered through 535 NCR LLC., the house covers 6.2 acres of land that was recently owned by 45th President, Donald Trump in 2008. Market Realist priced the home at only $95 million at the time of his selling. The most recent resident was “Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev in 2016,” as stated by the Real Deal.  The billionaire who owned Russian fertilizing company Uralkal  made news in his most recent ventures in morphing the Skorpios island into a lux tourism getaway.

Shleifer’s seemingly endless abundance of wealth steams from a variety of investing ventures. Forbes allocates a large portion his Goliath income to his investing in Meituan-Dianping – which put him “at a $60 billion market capitalization” in April 2020. Along with this profit is his numerous other tactical investments in companies such as fresh produce e-commerce platform Meicai and start up U.K company digital wallet startup Rapyd – according to Forbes.

While mostly kept secret to the public, the dazzling estate includes, “nine bedrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, and backs onto the Atlantic Ocean,” according to Mansion Global. The task for decorating the lux home was granted to top of the line interior designer, Marc-Michaels.  William M. Boyle of Boyle Architecture took great detail in incorporating ocean views to this glamorous estate. 

The house has everything you’d expect from a young billionaire: a humongous fish tank, indoor firebar, an outdoor movie theater, private cellar, beauty spa, and countless other luxury amenities
