As we wrap up 2021, there are going to be lots of tricky transits to ensure we’ve learnt our lessons and are on the right track to our ‘higher selves’. This morning’s Full Moon and Venus and Chiron stationing direct are prime examples of disciplinary transits. Today is all about revisiting old issues, healing wounds and making sure you enter 2022 on the best note possible. Express.co.uk reveals your horoscope, star sign reading, astrology and zodiac forecast for December 18.
The Full Moon takes place at 4.35am today, so we’ll feel the intensity of the Full Moon as we wake.
Astrology.com said: “To end the week, a Full Moon in Gemini arrives on December 18.
“This lunation will begin to be felt a few days prior and echo out over the following week.
“Full Moons bring situations and news up rapidly that we must then conclude.”
On this Full Moon, we have a choice to make that determines our future.
Astrology.com explained: “We will have an opportunity to decide how we’d like to proceed and then change our path going forward.
“The events of this Full Moon will be tied to how you have been communicating, learning, and building your plans since the solar eclipse in Gemini that took place on June 10, 2021.
“Use the energy of this lunation to assess your ideas and how you’ve been connecting with others. Networking will go especially well at this time.”
The Moon continues its transit of Gemini until 9.42 am before moving into the homely and emotional sign of Cancer.
Cafe Astrology explained: “The Cancer Moon is cautious but warm and attentive.”
The Moon feels safe in Cancer because it’s the sign’s ruler, so you’ll feel any anxiety disappear around this time.
The site added: “The restlessness of the Gemini Moon gives way to an instinctive need for peace and quiet.
“A feeling of belonging and safety is what motivates us under this influence.
“This Moon’s position in Cancer, therefore, has much healing potential. “Although insular by nature, our feelings run deep, making it an ideal time to get in touch with what motivates us.”
The Moon in Cancer generally favours the following activities, so you’ll probably be spending the day at home indoors:
- Domestic activities
- Those that involve awareness of personal needs
- Home decor
- Family get-togethers
Venus stations and turns retrograde in Capricorn today until January 29th, and this isn’t an easy transit to deal with.
According to Cafe Astrology’s mystics, this Venus retrograde cycle can bring us back to unresolved matters.
The site reads: “We’ll be revisiting issues to do with relationships, finances, wants and needs, and values.
“We may wish to avoid significant new beginnings or decisions related to Venus-ruled endeavours, such as finances, partnership, romance, and pleasurable pursuits, but it’s an excellent time to assess these matters.
“This is a cycle in which we review, re-evaluate, and reassess our love life, personal finances, and how we receive, reveal, and express our affections.
“Thoughts turn to the past so that we can lay to rest unhealthy habits in these areas of life.”
Also today, Chiron in Aries stations and turns direct, ending its retrograde that lasted since July 15 this year.
Get the tissue box ready because this shift can cause us to experience some emotional vulnerability.
Cafe Astrology explains: “Emotional truths about matters we’ve been avoiding or confused about are beginning to emerge now and in the coming weeks.
“These may not always be comfortable, but they serve to motivate us to take appropriate action.”
Fortunately, the Sun forms a sextile to expansive Jupiter today, stimulating hopefulness and generosity.
Cafe Astrology pointed out: “It can be a time for engaging with others in delightful ways and enjoying opportunities for doing so.
“Confidence comes from a stronger sense of who we are and the principles we represent.
“Some form of recognition or distinction is possible now.
“We can grasp the big picture, which expands our perspective, and we’re feeling more vital and confident.”
