Gino D’Acampo, 44, is an Italian chef known for showing the British public how to cook classic Italian staples thanks to his many TV appearances. Born in Naples, Italy, he moved to the UK in 1995 to work in The Orchard restaurant.

Shortly after, he started making TV appearances on shows such as Great Food Live and UKTV Food.

It wasn’t long before Gino became a regular face on primetime TV, appearing on shows such as This Morning and Too Many Cooks.

He is also one third of popular travel show, Gordon, Gino and Fred: American Road Trip – which sees the three food experts travelling North America on a culinary adventure.

Gino has written 18 cookery books, including one for children and diet books.

On top of that, he co-owns Bontà Italia Ltd, a company that supplies Italian ingredients, and has also developed ready meals for Tesco’s Finest range.

He is now the new face of revamped gameshow Family Fortunes, a position previously held by celebrities such as Bob Monkhouse, Les Dennis and Vernon Kay.

So after such a long and successful career, what is his net worth?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Gino has a fortune of around £8million ($10million).

Gino is by far from the only chef who has made millions from appearing on TV – his co-star Gordon Ramsay was one of the first modern chefs to do so.

Gordon Ramsay’s net worth is worth around £51m, a huge sum.

However, it’s no surprise. The chef is a household name – no mean feat in the competitive world of hospitality.

Gordon has 35 restaurants worldwide, a huge number.

He has also stared in a number of TV programmes. The most famous of which are Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares.

It was Ramsay’s foulmouthed insults that made these shows a hit with the public, as they amused.

Gordon has lots of property, including £11m worth in Cornwall.

However, the chef has upset locals by travelling to his £4m mansion in Trebetherick during coronavirus.

The home is a six-bedroom mansion, with two large kitchens and waterfront views. There is also a swimming pool.

Gordon also owns a property in Rock and in Fowey.

The Fowery property can sleep 10, and is rented out for up to £8,000 a week.

It’s a Grade II-listed house, bought in 2017 for £2m.
