Author, podcaster, presenter, blogger, former I’m A Celeb jungle queen and patron of CoppaFeel!, Giovanna Fletcher – who aptly calls herself “life juggler” in her Instagram bio – is an inspiration for working mums.
Giovanna, who has three boys – Buzz, eight, Buddy, six, and Max, four – with husband Tom Fletcher of McFly has become parenting’s voice of reason. Her honest podcast, Happy Mum, Happy Baby, has gained a huge fan following. The bubbly Essex girl has interviewed countless celebrity mums, from Kelsey Parker and Georgia Kousoulou to her most high profile mum to date, Kate Middleton, back in 2020.
If the busy mum didn't have her hands full already, she's just taken on another project.
We sat down for a catch-up with the star about her latest venture, as she is announced as the fashion ambassador for Regatta. Giovanna, 37, also revealed what she looks for when shopping for the perfect winter coat and what "me time" means to her …
Congratulations on your collection with Regatta. What’s it like starring in your own fashion campaign?
We shot it last winter so it was really lovely being all snuggly – it’s just been so much fun to create. I do loads of treks and things like that, so I love being outdoors. Being part of a collection that’s going to help people stay warm outside is great. In the collection there are a variety of pieces you can just chuck in the car and have for the school run, or if you want to go on a big old walk then there’s lots of versatility.
What do you look for when you’re choosing a new winter coat?
For me it’s a case of having a coat that is comfortable, durable and something I can move in. I want to be able to go for a walk in it, I want to be able to chuck it around a bit, so those are the top things I look for.

Do you have a favourite coat from the collection and why?
The Jovie – it’s quite a light piece and feels gorgeous to wear. And the Raegan, it’s made from 40 recycled bottles. I think it’s so important to turn single-use plastic into something useful.
Q. How would you sum up your autumn style?
It is playful, warm, durable and made for adventure.

With the current financial situation, people have become more mindful of how they shop for clothes. Is this something you can relate to?
Absolutely. It’s important to buy things that are made to last. I definitely see that with the kids. Buzz has clothes that pass down to Buddy, those then pass down to Max, and now down to my nephew Dylan.
What do you love to do when you’re not working?
My “me time” is getting outside, out of the house, running or walking. I go on charity treks every year for CoppaTrek! – Regatta has sponsored the last few. We’re going to the Sahara in November. There’s just great power in getting outdoors. It doesn’t matter what’s going on in your life, it helps to alleviate all those worries. And I love encountering people when we’re out. I have an inability to just see someone and walk past them, I have to say hello, say a few sentences. Tom tells me off for it. But I think there’s something really lovely in that.

Author, actress, podcaster, mum, charity patron and now a fashion ambassador. Wow, you are most definitely a ‘life juggler’! How do you manage it all?
I try and keep on top of it by being organised before the actual event happens. For instance the last few weeks I’ve been trying to get on top of the kids going back to school. And I try to schedule things as much as possible… this section of the day is podcast, this section of the day is for writing, this section of the day is for research etc etc. I like to write lists and block out my time.
What’s next in the pipeline for you?
We’ve got series 10 of the podcast, which we’re recording now, and then my next solo book has to be handed in next year. I feel really privileged to do what I do. I tell stories or help other people tell theirs, and that’s a really lucky position to be in.
