This is the moment a zoo visitor was left terrified after a cheeky gorilla made an incredibly smooth entrance into an enclosure.

In the viral TikTok clip, shared by Tina Flick, a group of gorillas wander around an area which is behind a glass wall.

However, all of a sudden one of them enters the room and slides across the floor in one smooth motion, until stopping in front of the see-through barrier.

The beast, named Cenzoo, a resident at the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, South Carolina, then spins around to present his behind to the visitors.

He soon saunters back to where he came from – but not before turning and giving the guests a seemingly sly look.

All of a sudden another gorilla enters the room and slides across the floor in one smooth motion, until stopping in front of the see-through barrier

Responding to one of the comments, Tina explained: ‘He straight up scared me because I wasn’t really [paying] attention to the door inside of the room.’

A hashtag used for the TikTok video suggests the gorilla is Cenzoo, a 26-year-old gorilla who was previously housed at Birmingham Zoo.

The zoo explained: ‘Like most adult gorillas, Cenzoo spends a good amount of time resting but he also enjoys other activities such as observing the activities of the train behind the Primate Building, using tools, and engaging in training sessions with his zookeepers.’
