That’s most definitely the case when it comes to Charlotte Tilbury, who’s advent calendar has become the stuff of legends and is one of the most coveted makeup advent calendars around.

The lauded Christmas countdown is back for another year, and the brand has just released the very first look at what you can expect from the 2023 goodie box.

Although most of its contents have yet to be revealed, we’re sure there’ll be plenty of treats inside to satisfy even the choosiest of beauty fans, and thewaitlist is now openso you can be one of the first to hear about it when it launches.

Charlotte’s Lucky Chest of Beauty Secrets, £160 here, contains a whole host of makeup and skincare products from the brand, and includes 12 of Charlotte Tilbury’s best-loved and most iconic products.

We may not know exactly what’s inside yet, but we do know that shoppers will get a travel-sized tub of the award-winning Magic Cream, £26 here, which has been a big hit with everyone from celebrities to skincare influencers.

The calendar will also include a travel size version of the Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray, £17 here, so you can keep your makeup in place all day long, even when you’re on the go. The handy travel size also makes it perfect for taking with you on holiday, or popping in your handbag when you head out and about.

There will also be a full size Hot Lips 2 Lipstick, £29 here, although the exact shade has yet to be revealed.

With just those three products already adding up to £72, and nine more items still to be revealed, it’s clear the advent calendar is going to be more than worth the £160 price tag, as not only will you be getting a surprise treat in the 12 days leading up to Christmas, but you’ll save yourself a fortune too.

The calendar has sold out for the last two years running, so we suspect that you’ll have to be quick to snap it up once it officially launches. If you download the official Charlotte Tilbury app, you’ll be given a sneak preview at each of the 12 days’ contents with Charlotte herself revealing a new item every day from September 1 until September 12, when app users will be given early access to the calendar.
