Manchester will be a sea of rainbows later this month as the city’s annual LGBTQ+ celebration takes to the streets.

The four-day Pride event, from August 25-28, features an array of festivities, including of course a parade and is expected to attract thousands of people from across the country and beyond.

London Pride may be bigger and Brighton may attract the superstars but there’s no beating Manchester, the unofficial Pride of the North.

Here you better be prepared for unparalleled partying.

The parade is magical, the Big Weekend around Canal Street a total mash-up and the entertainment that make sure Pride celebrations continue well into the year.
