Jo Konta OUT of Wimbledon hours before it starts and forced into isolation after coming in close-contact with Covid case

JO KONTA has been ruled out of Wimbledon after coming into close-contact with somebody who has Covid-19.

The 30-year-old Brit will now have to self-isolate for ten days and miss the showpiece after she received the bad news today.

A statement confirmed: “The Referee’s Office has advised that Johanna Konta (GBR) has been withdrawn from the Ladies' Singles Draw, having been classified as a close contact of a positive test for COVID-19.”
