Kate Ferdinand and Rio Ferdinand have welcomed their first child
The former The Only Way Is Essex reality TV star and football legend Rio have welcomed a baby boy.
The baby was born on Friday, December 18.
The baby boy is Kate's first child and Rio's fourth. Rio is also the father to Lorenz, 13, Tate, 11, and Tia, nine.
Following the death of their mother Rebecca, who died from cancer back in 2015, Kate has become stepmother to them.
Kate, who quit her reality TV lifestyle to be a mum to Rio's kids, sadly did not have an easy pregnancy and documented the hardships.
The star previously said she tore her stomach muscles during the pregnancy and was told by doctors to rest for three weeks.
Kate openly talked about the tough pregnancy during a Q&A on her Instagram account.
She also revealed how she was still exercising during her pregnancy despite her injury forcing her to take it easy.
Alongside a snap of herself in work-out gear in the gym, she wrote: "I have trained for the majority of my pregnancy: Pilates and light gym work.

"But after tearing my muscles I was advised to rest so I did that for 3 weeks and am now just taking it easy & walking daily as I don't want to damage anything further.
"It is advised to stay active so I'm trying to keep moving as much as possible."
It comes after Kate showed off her organised prepared hospital bag ahead of giving birth earlier this week.
And much of their bag was snacks.
In the picture she showed three plastic bags clearly labelled with names and snacks.
One label showed Rio's treat bag which contained bags of Hula Hoops, three ready salted and four BBQ beef.
For herself, Kate packed Prawn and Cocktail flavoured crisps with Time Outs and Maoam sweets.
Daily Star Online has contacted representatives for both Kate and Rio.
