Mum pays just £4.90 to sit in first class during flight and people say it's 'nicer than their house' | The Sun

A MUM has revealed how she paid just $5.60 (£4.90) to sit in first class during a flight – and people are shocked.

TikTok user 'travelhackingmom' is made up of mums Alex, Pam and Jess, who often share their tips on how to save money when booking holidays.

In a recent video, they showed off a luxury seat with Singapore Airlines while flying from New York to Germany.

Inside the 'suite' was one of the mums sitting in a huge leather chair, with a single bed, widescreen TV and lots of personal space also inside.

They explained how they managed to get the mega suite for such a tiny amount on the seven-hour flight.

By using 143,000 credit card points, they only had to pay the extra which was less than a fiver.

Alex Cameron, programme manager at Zodiac Aerospace, the company who are designing the upgraded suites said: “One of these will cost the same as a three bedroom house.”

Emirates is also known for its amazing first class suites.

The suites on their Boeing 777-300 planes are a 40-square-foot private cabin with a "zero gravity" seat, wide-screen TV and binoculars to take advantage of the views from the three windows.
