An Australian mum-of-two has shared how she transformed her toaster using a $2 product from Kmart.

Posting before and after images to a popular Facebook group, shopper Jess revealed she bought a packet of six cleaning erasers.

The sponges are designed to remove tough stains from surfaces around the home – such as in the bathroom and kitchen.

The affordable buy can be purchased online or found in the cleaning section of Kmart stores.

Jess wasn’t the only one who was stunned by the product’s cleaning efficiency, as hundreds of others online seemed impressed. 

‘Is that a sorcery? It’s amazing! I’m going to buy it!’ one person said.

‘Great job! My daughter swears by these sponges!’ another said.

‘They even get the colour stains out from the bath caused by toys,’ a third added.

‘My son’s shoes were gross and dirty from day care so I needed to wash them.

‘I used the Kmart cleaning erasers and the white came up great,’ she said.
