Copenhagen-based label Palmes Tennis Society has launched its first collection, showcasing its athletic influence with pieces designed for both on and off court. The capsule builds on the brand’s influence from tennis culture, and covers everything from caps, balls and racket grips to a tweed sports coat, as well as cut-and-sew polos, rugby shirts and button-down shirts.
The focal point of the off-court wear is the sports coat, which comes constructed from wool from Abraham Moon, a historic UK wool mill founded in 1837. Elsewhere, the collection features Palmes-branded polos, rugbys, sweatshirts and a vest that are produced from either 100% organic cotton or a 50/50 blend of organic and recycled cotton.
One item that showcases the cross between on-court and off-court are the tennis shorts, which feature pockets that can hold three tennis balls. Additionally, Palmes introduces tennis socks in a performance-appropriate material, branded tennis balls and a collaborative Nalgene bottle for keeping hydrated during play.
