Katy Perry’s latest maternity look is out of this world.
The pregnant pop star, 35, donned a sparkling silver ensemble on Instagram in honor of SpaceX’s upcoming rocket launch, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday but postponed until the weekend due to bad weather.
Always one to dress on theme, Perry cradled her baby bump in a plissé-lamé midi dress by Balenciaga ($4,400), along with matching metallic heels ($864) and statement earrings ($495) from the same luxury label.
On Saturday, the “Daisies” hitmaker will host a pre-game segment on Discovery and the Science Channel before the historic launch, which will mark SpaceX’s first crewed mission and the first time astronauts have launched into space from US soil since 2011.
“What’s two days when @spacex has been waiting for 18 years,” Perry wrote in her caption. “Let’s pray it’s in the cards for Saturday!”
We can’t wait to see what she wears this weekend.

Katy Perry’s style has always been whimsical — and she’s not toning it down while pregnant. Back in March, the “American Idol” judge, 35, announced that she is expecting her first child, a girl, with fiancé Orlando Bloom after weeks spent covering her stomach with voluminous dresses and strategically placed purses.
Since then, she’s shown off her bump in everything from neon frocks to a giant hand sanitizer costume. See all of her best maternity looks here.

Katy Perry announced she was pregnant with a splash, cradling her stomach in an Alexis Mabille wedding dress in her music video for “Never Worn White.” The song’s sweet lyrics refer to the “full family tree” she hopes to have with Bloom in 60 years.
One of Perry’s first events post-pregnancy announcement was in Melbourne, Australia, where she attended the 2020 Women’s Cricket World Cup in this colorful Mara Hoffman look.
Perry headlined the sporting event — and sported her finest girl power-themed outfits, including this ’60s-inspired dress and boots covered with hearts, peace signs and female symbols.
She changed into a few other looks on stage, including this form-fitting minidress and matching earrings.
While on stage, Katy pronounced, “I hope it’s a girl!” Almost one month later, she announced via Instagram that her wish came true.
Also in Australia, Perry shined bright in a neon yellow Valentino dress and blue sneakers from her own Katy Perry Collection before performing at a concert for firefighters and communities affected by bushfires in Victoria.
In Sydney, the mom-to-be looked radiant in a floral turtleneck and lavender dress.
For the first-ever at-home episode of “American Idol,” Katy Perry had to wear something special. She chose this very appropriate hand sanitizer costume, made specially for the show.
Poking fun at the toilet paper shortage, the judge’s second costume was even more hilarious than the first.
At home, Perry’s first casual outfit was a coordinated Missoni look and matching turban.
To perform “Baby Mine” from Dumbo for ABC’s second “Disney Family Singalong,” Katy even got poodle Nugget involved in her elephant costume.
KP got in the Easter spirit by donning a bunny onesie for the holiday during quarantine.
Not all of her at-home looks are glamorous; Katy snacked on a pickle in a cheeky shirt in the first weeks of quarantine.
Perry most recently performed for fast fashion brand Shein’s virtual charity concert wearing a smocked dress and turban.
