Prince Harry prefers LA now that he and Orlando Bloom ‘look out for each other’

Prince Harry has confirmed that he has buddied up with acting legend Orlando Bloom.

The 36-year-old spoke about their unlikely alliance and admitted that he preferred LA since finding a friend in the Pirates of the Caribbean actor.

Speaking on Dax Shepard's new podcast – Armchair Expert – the Duke of Sussex explained that Orlando would frequently make contact to warn him about security issues in the area.

Dax asked Harry: "Having moved [to LA] has it got better?"

Harry responded: "Yeah way better," he said, before adding: "Just two days ago Orlando Bloom sent me a message cause he's down the road and we sort of keep in contact because of the paparazzi."

The Duke went on: "He sent me a photograph which is his security got, of this long haired guy with a beanie on, with his ear pods in, with his massive camera lying in the back of his 4×4 truck.

"Blacked out windows, a woman driving, cause she liked to do the peace sign out of the window as part of the distraction and he's laying down in the back of the truck taking photographs of them out with their kid and whoever else is in that area."

He fumed: "How is that normal? How is that acceptable?"

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle shocked the world after they announced their decision to step down on as senior members of the royal family 8 January 2020.

A statement, shared to their Instagram page at the time, read: "After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution.

"We intend to step back as 'senior' members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen."

After much debate, the former royal couple finally settled on their family home with son Archie, two.

Their lavish £11million home is situated in Montecito in Santa Barbara.

The neighbourhood is renowned for its secluded hillside estates that promise the utmost privacy which has attracted a whole raft of celebrities including Oprah Winfrey, Tom Cruise and Ellen DeGeneres.

Harry and Meghan's mansion is secluded with a huge driveway and enormous security gates to keep themselves and their growing brood safe.

Spotify announced a multiyear exclusive license agreement with one of the world’s most listened-to and shared podcasts, the award-winning Armchair Expert podcast, co-hosted by actor, filmmaker and comedian Dax Shepard and Emmy-nominated producer and personality Monica Padman.
