Last year, Silent Hill creator Keiichiro Toyama departed from Sony’s Japan Studio after almost 20 years at the company to start his own banner, and now the developer has teased the first project for his new Bokeh Game Studio.

To the delight of many of his fans and followers, Toyama’s first title for his new studio will be horror-oriented, drawing inspiration from “death games” while he looks for the perfect setting and location through his passion of photography. In a 10-minute video — which you can watch in Japanese above — he goes through some of the concept art the team has been working on so far, and the different horror elements he hopes to capture in the upcoming title.

Of course, the project is still at a very early stage, so details revolving around its plot or gameplay remain scarce, but Toyama’s artwork looks promising, and will no doubt ignite much excitement from long-time Silent Hill fans.
