The truth about Chris Trousdale and Anna Sundstrand’s relationship

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Chris Trousdale. The Dream Street singer died on June 2, 2020 due to complications from Covid-19, according to Us Weekly. Trousdale died in a hospital in Burbank, California.

Trousdale, who was an actor and a musician, was known for being one of the five members of the boy band, alongside Greg Raposo, Matt Ballinger, Jesse McCartney, and Frankie Galasso. They hit it big in the early 2000s but the band ended up dissolving after their parents sued the two individuals responsible for forming Dream Street, Louis Baldonieri and Brian Lukow. According to the Daily Mail, the parents claimed that their sons were “exposed to booze, women, and pornography.” They ended up winning the case, releasing the five band members from their contracts.

After Trousdale parted ways from Dream Street, he ended up working on several other projects. He collaborated with the Swedish girl group Play and was a featured star in their single “I’m Gonna Make You Love Me.” When Play parted ways, Trousdale ended up working on several collaborations with one of its members, Anna Sundstrand. They were totally adorable together and many people wondered if they were a couple. Keep reading to find out if these speculations were correct.

Chris Trousdale had an 'explosively charming personality'

When eulogizing his friend and former band member, Jesse McCartney said of Chris Trousdale on Instagram: “It pains me to say that an old friend, Chris Trousdale, from my early days in the music industry has passed away due to complications from COVID-19. Chris had an explosively charming personality with boundless amounts of talent.”

With such a powerful level of charm, many have wondered if Trousdale ever had a romantic connection with singer Anna Sundstrand. It’s a fair question, because they collaborated on many songs together, most notably the dreamy hit “If Only.” They performed often on stage together, even offering a sweaty version of Grease’s “You’re the One That I Want” in 2006.

While Sundstrand and Trousdale frequently performed together and worked on music together, there has never been any substantial evidence that they dated. In fact, according to MTV, Sundstrand and Trousdale were longtime friends. After she left Play, Sundstrand took up modelling with New York’s Model Management Group circa 2005. She later wrote a book, according to MTV, about her time as a child star in the music industry, which is available in Sweden, according to her Instagram.

This must be devastating news for Sundstrand that Trousdale has passed and so we wish her our condolences.
