West Ham transfer news: The FOUR most likely striker signings David Moyes could complete in January after Haller sale

WEST HAM are busy searching for a new striker after the departure of club record signing Sebastien Haller.

The 26-year-old arrived for £35m in 2019 but managed 14 goals in 54 games in all competitions before leaving for Ajax in a deal worth £20.25m.

The club's owners have reportedly assured manager David Moyes that he'll be able to use the funds from the sale to sign a replacement.

And here, SunSport take a closer look at the FOUR forwards being tipped to arrive at the London Stadium in January, according to odds supplied by bookmakers Betfair.

Josh King – 6/4

Bournemouth star Josh King is the undisputed favourite to join West Ham in January at 6/4.

The Hammers tried to sign King, 28, over the summer but the Championship Cherries rejected their £13m offer.

Now with just six months remaining on his contract at the Vitality Stadium, Bournemouth may have to accept a significantly lower fee to avoid losing him on a free transfer.

Moyes views King as an out-and-out striker but will have to do battle with Newcastle and West Brom for his signature.

Olivier Giroud – 7/2

Another forward entering the final stages of his contract is Chelsea star Olivier Giroud.

The Frenchman has been on West Ham's radar for several months and the player could be tempted by the promise of regular first-team action ahead of Euro 2020.

Giroud has proven that there's plenty left in the tank having bagged nine goals in 15 outings this season.

Reports claim both Moyes and the West Ham hierarchy are fans of the 34-year-old and are trying to find out his valuation.

Marko Arnautovic – 9/1

He didn't leave on the best of terms, but Marko Arnautovic is once again being tipped to return to London this winter.

The Austrian registered 21 goals in 59 Premier League matches before joining Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai SIPG for £22.4m.

It's claimed that Shanghai SIPG have offered West Ham the chance to re-sign the 31-year-old.

But his astronomical wages are a stumbling block and make the deal an unlikely 9/1 shot, say Betfair.

Moussa Dembele – 11/1

Probably the most ambitious of the four-man list is Lyon star Moussa Dembele at 11/1.

David Moyes had identified Dembele as a possible target during his days at Manchester United and has once again made preliminary enquiries.

However, Goal claim the former Celtic ace has no interest in joining West Ham.

He's also categorically ruled out leaving Lyon during the January window.
