Partygoer Who Attended Ozarks Memorial Day Gathering in Missouri Tests Positive for Coronavirus

Missouri health officials are warning those who attended the Memorial Day weekend parties at the Lake of Ozarks after one person tested positive for coronavirus — and may have been infected throughout the weekend.

A Boone County resident was reported to be at multiple bars during the May 23-24 holiday weekend and began to "develop illness on Sunday," according to a Camden County Health Department press release.

Officials added that the resident was "likely incubating illness and possibly infectious at the time of the visit."

In order to alert the "mass number of unknown people" who attended the parties in Osage Beach — from which videos went viral as people ignored social distancing guidelines put forth amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic — health officials released a detailed timeline of the subject's location throughout the weekend.

On May 23, the partygoer was to Backwater Jack's Bar & Grill between approximately 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. local time, and again between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. The subject also visited Shady Gators and Lazy Gators Pool from 5:40 p.m. through 9 p.m.

The following day, the unidentified patient was seen at Buffalo Wild Wings from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. before visiting Shady Gators from approximately 2:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. The person then took a taxi from Shady Gators to a private residence around 7 p.m., officials reported.

Health officials are currently conducting an investigation with Lake Area Health Departments and there have been no additional cases reported in Camden County, according to the release.

Anyone who may have been at the subject's location is urged to "monitor for symptoms" including fever, cough, shortness of breath, body aches, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or loss of taste or smell.

"If you develop symptoms, please contact your physician, and isolate until test results are known. Please Stay Home If You Are Sick!" officials added.

News of the positive partygoer comes three days after the St. Louis County Department of Public Health asked anybody who attended the parties to "self-quarantine for 14 days or until they receive a negative test result for COVID-19."

“Recent news reports indicate that many people, including those from the St. Louis region, did not follow any protective practices over the holiday weekend,” the public health department said in a statement after footage of the partying surfaced. “Many members of the public and employers have asked how to ensure that people who do not follow social distancing practices do not spread COVID-19 to others when they return to St. Louis and to their workplace.”

In a news release announcing the advisory, County Executive Dr. Sam Page said "reckless behavior" is "setting us back substantially from the progress we have made in slowing the spread of COVID-19."

“I encourage everyone to follow the Department of Public Health advisory to determine a safe path forward in the workplace," Page added.

What to Know About NASA's 'Best Friend' Astronauts Blasting Off to Space: 'We’re Lucky'

RELATED: NASA Prepares to Send Two Astronauts to Space in Historic SpaceX Crew Dragon Launch

As if their stories weren't similar enough, Behnken and Hurley also both have young sons. Behnken has a 6-year-old son, Theodore, with McArthur, while Hurley and Nyberg have a 10-year-old named Jack, according to The New York Times.

"I think it’s a pretty cool looking vehicle and my 10-year-old son certainly thinks it’s a cool vehicle with a cool name, Dragon," Hurley said, according to the NYT. "So I got the thumbs up from him and in the end, that’s all that matters."

Their personal lives and longtime friendship are part of what Gwynne Shotwell, the president of SpaceX, said makes Behnken and Hurley's upcoming mission so special.

"I wanted to make sure everyone at SpaceX understood and knew Bob and Doug as astronauts, as test pilots — badass — but also as dads and husbands," Shotwell said, according to the NYT. "I wanted to bring some humanity to this very deeply technical effort as well."

Despite their prior experience, Behnken said he was still in disbelief about living the dream with his best friend.

"As graduates of military test pilot schools, if you gave us one thing that we could have put on our list of dream jobs that we would have gotten to have someday, it would have been to be aboard a new spacecraft and conduct a test mission" Behnken said, according to The Washington Post.

Their decades-long friendship is also what the astronaut believes will make them successful on their journey to space.

"One of the things that’s really helpful for us as a crew is the long relationship that Doug and I have had," Behnken told reporters, according to the NYT. "We’re kind of at the point in our experience — whether it’s flying in the T-38 or executing in a SpaceX simulation or approaching and docking to the International Space Station — where we, in addition to finishing each other’s sentences, we can predict, you know, almost by body language, what the person’s opinion is or what they’re going to do, what their next action is going to be."

And though she is proud of her husband, McArthur said watching the takeoff will still leave her uneasy.

"One of the hardest things to do is watch the person that you love launch into space," she said, according to The Washington Post. "It’s much harder than actually doing it yourself when you’re in the rocket. You have the training. You’re prepared for the mission."

"When you’re watching, you’re just a spectator. And no matter what happens, there’s nothing you can do to contribute to the situation," McArthur added.

Behnken, who is serving as joint operations commander, and Hurley, who will be spacecraft commander, will lift off in the Crew Dragon spacecraft at 3:22 p.m. ET.

Yale Student Who Grew Up Homeless Reveals How She Achieved Goals: 'Keep Your Eyes on the Prize'

Fearce was determined to be a good role model for her younger siblings. She found inspiration in her late grandmother, struggling with kidney failure and diabetes, who gave Fearce emotional support, and her chemistry teacher.

“In high school, it was the first time I had seen a black woman doing science,” Fearce says. “Before I would never had thought I could do science. I knew I was good at it, but at that moment I realized I could actually do it.”

In her junior and senior year, Fearce took both high school and college courses, missing out on the free meals she depended on so she could get to her college classes. She not only graduated as valedictorian of her 2013 class with a 4.5 grade average, but was also given a full-ride scholarship — including a meal plan — to Spelman College in Atlanta.

After graduation, she worked full time for two years at the National Institutes for Health in Bethesda, Maryland, doing research on drugs for neurological and psychiatric disorders.

She entered Yale last fall and has set a course to earn both a PhD and medical degree to become a psychiatrist.

“Psychiatry is something that touches everybody,” Fearce says. “People will be traumatized [after the pandemic], especially those working on the front lines, so they are going to need help."

As for her siblings, older sister Chelsea Shelton, 25, earned a degree in criminology after receiving a full college scholarship and now works at the state Department of Juvenile Justice.

Younger siblings Nicholas, 12, and Cayleigh, 11, are currently living with their mom, who is in remission and working, in Atlanta.

9.15pm Man Utd news LIVE: Sancho ‘overweight’ in Dortmund loss, Pogba Juventus talks, Solskjaer wants Ighalo to stay – The Sun

MANCHESTER UNITED are pressing on with training ahead of the Premier League's likely restart in June.

But they could be without Odion Ighalo, who Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says he wants to stay until the end of the season but will be recalled by Shanghai Shenhua this week if a deal cannot be reached.

Get all the Red Devils news and updates here…

  • OLD LADY COUNTS PENNIES

Juventus have told Paul Pogba to drop his £11million-a-year wage demands if he wants a return to the Old Lady.

According to Tuttosport, the World Cup winner will have to lower his salary expectations and can expect a lower rate than he earns at Old Trafford.

Pogba was a world record £89m signing when he re-joined United in 2016.

  • GREAL DEAL

Man Utd tried to sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa in 2012, former boss Alex McLeish has claimed.

The midfielder, 24, is being linked with a summer move to Old Trafford.

But Big Eck says United's interest goes way back.

He said: “At that moment [2012] we felt people were getting in contact with him to leave Villa.

“That was one of the main reasons to get him involved with us [in the first team].

“He would have been on the bench anyway because of the casualties we had. He was the best youngster coming through.

“When we played Man United we heard he was in a restaurant being courted by one of the agents to try and get him to Man United.

“We were a bit alarmed about that so we fought well to keep him. We knew he loved Villa, his old man as well. We had them in speaking to them. They’re lovely people.”

  • OD MAN IN?

Odion Ighalo's agent says his man is “very close” to reaching an agreement with Man Utd.

The Nigerian’s loan spell at Old Trafford expires this week.

His future is still unclear, with reports claiming Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to keep him.

But a decision is being complicated over talks with Ighalo's parent club Shanghai Shenhua.

Ladi Salami said: “On the one hand, the Super Eagle [Nigerian] feels very good in Manchester, with which it is very close to a salary agreement.

“Negotiations with the Chinese are ongoing and are going well.”

  • HEN-D OF THE ROAD

Man Utd are set to let Dean Henderson stay at Sheffield United for the rest of season – despite his loan deal expiring in June.

The England hopeful, 23, is currently on loan at Bramall Lane with United chiefs facing a moral dilemma over whether to recall him.

United and the Blades are both vying for the final Champions League qualification spot, worth £60million.

But Old Trafford chiefs are set to be kind and allow him to finish off the 2019-20 season at Sheffield United.

The current campaign has been on pause since March after the coronavirus pandemic forced all sport into lockdown.

Premier League chiefs are now hoping to restart next month, with Friday June 12 the initial proposed date, although some reports claim it could be pushed back to June 26.

  • OD ONE OUT

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits he wants to extend Odion Ighalo’s loan deal with the striker set to leave at the end of the week.

The Red Devils boss told MUTV: “The loan deal went until the end of May now, so obviously he’s supposed to be going back.

“We’re in dialogue. They’ve been great towards us, his club, and allowed him to play for his dream club.

“It’s been a dream for him and hopefully he can finish off what he started, hopefully with a trophy for us.

“At the moment, nothing has been agreed. Their league is going to get started soon so we’re just waiting to see.”

  • BEATEN TOON IT

Newcastle have opened talks with Philippe Coutinho and lead Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea in the race to sign him, according to reports.

The Magpies have moved to land the ex-Liverpool man ahead of their imminent mega-money Saudi backed takeover.

Reports earlier today suggested the Gunners plan to start discussions with the 27-year-old soon while United and Chelsea have been linked for months.

But the Toon have beaten the Premier League trio to the punch and begun talks with the playmaker and his camp, according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo.

  • SOL PROPRIETOR

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Man Utd are doing all they can to keep Odion Ighalo, despite his loan deal running out at the end of this week.

He told the club website: “The loan deal went until the end of May now, so obviously he’s supposed to be going back.

“We’re in dialogue. They’ve been great towards us, his club, and allowed him to play for his dream club.

”It’s been a dream for him and hopefully he can finish off what he started, hopefully with a trophy for us.

“At the moment, nothing has been agreed. Their league is going to get started soon so we’re just waiting to see.”

  • STRIKING GOLD

United are considering moves for Timo Werner and Moussa Dembele, according to reports.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking at buying a younger, explosive striker in the summer.

According to Goal, two of those on his wish list are Werner and Dembele.

At 24 and 23 respectively, they have enough experience to come straight into the starting XI but should have their best years ahead of them.

  • GIFT OF THE RAB

Real Madrid have reportedly joined the race to sign Rabbi Matondo from Schalke.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have been heavily linked to the former Manchester City academy star.

According to Diario Madridista, Madrid president Florentino Perez is keeping a close eye on Matondo.

It is reported that Matondo's progress in the Bundesliga has “not gone unnoticed” by Zinedine Zidane.

  • 'LOOKING SHARP'

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed how the Manchester United squad have been getting on at training.

During an MUTV Group Chat interview, he said: “We're back in training which has been great.

“The boys have been fantastic, the weather's been good and they've enjoyed.”

Before he added: “Everyone's looking sharp, everyone's been in a good mood and we've been splitting up in groups so fours and five together and they've really done well.

“Hopefully, they can as I said, step up and go to bigger training groups but so far it's been good.”

  • THREE & EASY

The Premier League have finally given the go head for 3pm games to shown live on TV – with some matches even set to be aired for FREE.

Top-flight bosses have dropped its opposition to the game being shown to compensate for them being behind closed doors.

The long-standing blackout was lifted last month, but Prem bosses initially claimed they still wouldn't allow 3pm matches to be broadcast.

But now they have had a “change of heart”, according to The Times – with the previously blocked games now allowed to be shown.

There are 92 Premier League matches left to be played this season, with the restart pencilled in for June 12, although some fear it may be more like June 26.

Every match will be broadcast via some medium to make up for the fact fans are not allowed to watch live from inside the stadium.

  • EXCLUSIVE

United's players have returned to training fit and healthy, delighting medical staff.

SunSport understands that not a single player has reported back overweight despite the coronavirus delay to the season.

Two or three stars, including keeper David De Gea, have returned to social distancing sessions LIGHTER because of doing less weight training.

Conditioning staff are said to be “chuffed to bits” that the players have been looking after themselves in lockdown.

United are concentrating more on cardio exercises this week and “are hoping the restrictions will be lifted quicker” so they can introduce some of the gym equipment.

  • OD MOVE

Dimitar Berbatov has claimed the Premier League should bend the rules to allow United to sign Odion Ighalo's replacement.

The striker's loan deal is set to expire on May 30 – and he could return to Shanghai Shenhua if fresh terms are not agreed.

Berbatov said: “United need to know what is happening with him.

“If they know they will lose him, they need to find someone else to replace him.”

Before he added: “If a team is losing a loan player because of the situation, the federation should allow a team to get someone else because of the situation.

“If Ighalo goes, United should be allowed to get a replacement.”

  • GREAL DEAL

Alex McLeish has revealed Manchester United tried to sign Jack Grealish when he was in charge of Aston Villa.

Speaking to the Claret and Blue podcast, he said: “When we played Man United w heard he was in a restaurant being courted by one of the agents to try and get him to Man United.

“We were a bit alarmed about that so we fought well to keep him.

“We knew he loved Villa, his old man as well.

“We had them in speaking to them. They're lovely people.

“That asked for something and the club went it's too much but, finally, you come to an agreement and everybody's happy.”

  • THIERR UP

United reportedly rejected the chance to sign Thierry Henry before he joined Arsenal as Sir Alex Ferguson claimed “he's always f***ing injured”.

According to Old Trafford's former head of security Ned Kelly the Red Devils were the Frenchman's “first choice” ahead of the Gunners.

Kelly told beIN Sports: “In the tunnel after the game my phone goes, Eric's [Cantona] older brother Jean-Marie says, 'Ned, tell Alex [Ferguson] that Thierry Henry wants to come to the club',

“Now this was before he went to Arsenal, his first choice was Manchester United. So I go to the boss and say, 'boss, I've just had Jean-Marie Cantona on the phone, he had said Henry wants to come to the club'.

“He [Ferguson] says, 'no way, he's always f****** injured'. He went to Arsenal, the rest is history.”

  • NOT TOO KEANE

Teddy Sheringham has claimed Paul Pogba lacks the Roy Keane factor that United need.

He told Sky sports: “People mention top players and captains. When things weren't going right in our time, Roy Keane put things right.

“He would drive our team on, he would dig deep and make sure we had a say in every game we played in because of his desire.

“When you look at Pogba, yes, he may be a talented boy, but does he have the same mentality?

“Does he really dig deep and get Manchester United out of the mire when the going gets tough? The answer for me is NO.”

  • HEN PECKED

United have ordered Antero Henrique to get them Correntin Tolisso, according to reports in France.

The former PSG sporting director is being lined up as a potential director of football at Old Trafford.

According to Le 10 Sport, the club are hoping to recruit Tolisso when he leaves the Allianz at the end of the season.

  • OD SITUATION

United are set to lose Odion Ighalo this week as talks with Shanghai Shenhua over extending the stay have stalled, according to reports.

The Nigerian, 30, made a last-ditch loan move to Old Trafford in January as emergency cover in attack to replace injured Marcus Rashford.

His contract with the Red Devils runs until May 31, four days after the Europa League final was scheduled to take place.

With the season suspended, SunSport reported that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wanted to extend the loan spell by a further three months to take in the end of the season.

But his parent club Shanghai Shenhua have so far rejected that proposal – and want him back to start preparations for their new season which is due to kick-off in late June.

And according to ESPN, the Chinese Super League team are unwilling to budge on their stance.

  • ON THIS DAY

    Beckham, into Sheringham…

    AND SOLSKJAER HAS WON IT!

May 26 for every United fan is a special day.

  • IN HIS IMAGE

Contract rebel Angel Gomes has named Andres Iniesta as the footballer he tries to emulate as the skilful attacking midfielder stalls over a new contract.

Hopes that the 19-year-old WILL sign a new deal at United are increasing after his increased presence on the club’s official channels.

Gomes told ManUtd.com: “In terms of who I model parts of my game on, I’d say [Andres] Iniesta. He was always one of my idols.

“[He was] a big player I watched while growing up. [He played] in similar positions as me and I’ve always tried modelling my game on Iniesta.

“In terms of footballers when I was young it was always Ronaldinho, the Brazilian players, Robinho [plus Portuguese] Cristiano Ronaldo at the time.

“I remember the Joga Bonito stuff with the freestyling and stuff like that. As a youngster, all you wanted to do was practise skills, so I’d say players like Ronaldo [were my inspiration].”

  • GLAZE INTO THE FUTURE

Manchester United owners the Glazers were only willing to let Saudi investors buy 20 per cent of the club, according to reports.

That is because the family want to see United restored back to the top of the Premier League tree.

It had been previously claimed that the Glazers were willing to sell for between £2billion and £3bn.

But despite mounting debt, placed over the head of the club, the Glazers’ presence appears to be constant for the foreseeable future, according to the Athletic.

  • MARC OF THE MAN

Marcus Rashford has revealed that 2.8MILLION children have received meals during lockdown with money he has helped raise, along with a special recognition award from the city of Manchester.

The United striker tweeted: “Wouldn’t normally share these types of things but this certificate is not just for me, it belongs to you all.

“Each and every one of you that has contributed the few £s you can, you’ve all made a huge difference.

“2.8million children a week are receiving meals they otherwise wouldn’t have during this lockdown because of YOUR help.

“I couldn’t have done any of this without the help of you all and @fareshare.

“From being young I knew that if I ever got in a position that I could help I would and I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved so far.”

  • TRICKY DEVIL

Cristiano Ronaldo looked ready to go at Juventus training before rounding off the session with an incredible trick shot.

The Portuguese star, 35, flicked a football into a basketball hoop from long range, proving he's not going to be rusty following lockdown.

Ronaldo let out a roar as the ball tickled the net on its way down – reminiscent of his infamous Ballon d'Or outburst.

And he looked in top shape as he put in the work ahead of a proposed return to action on June 13.

  • NO FORGIVENESS

Cesc Fabregas admits he is still angry over Wayne Rooney's “dive” during Arsenal's famous 'Pizzagate' clash with Manchester United… sixteen years later.

The Red Devils ended the Gunners' 49 game unbeaten run after their incredible Invincibles season and the Spaniard has lifted the lid on the fiery match.

Fabregas said: “We were so disappointed, we were angry, we were upset for the way it went.

“Don’t get me wrong, it had to come to an end the Invincibles, the 49 games, and it can happen. It was at Old Trafford, against a great team, against a great Manchester United team.

“But I think it’s the way it happened. First of all, Gary Neville, what he did to [Jose] Antonio Reyes, mamma Mia!”

Black Man Dies After Being Restrained by Minn. Officer with Knee on Neck — and FBI Will Investigate

The FBI is investigating the death of a black man in police custody who was seen on video being restrained by a Minneapolis officer kneeling on his neck.

Minneapolis police had characterized the man's death in a statement as being the result of a "medical incident" before video circulated widely on social media showing the unidentified man's arrest by two officers.

A statement from the department alleges that the incident occurred Monday evening outside the Cup Foods store, and that officers "responded to the 3700 block of Chicago Avenue South on a report of a forgery in progress."

Police arrived to find "the suspect was sitting on top of a blue car and appeared to be under the influence. Two officers arrived and located the suspect, a male believed to be in his 40s, in his car. He was ordered to step from his car."

The statement continues: "After he got out, he physically resisted officers. Officers were able to get the suspect into handcuffs and noted he appeared to be suffering medical distress. Officers called for an ambulance. He was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center by ambulance where he died a short time later."

The man was unarmed, the press release notes.

In the video, an officer can be seen with his knee firmly placed on the back of the black man's neck.

The suspect was lying on his stomach, next to a Minneapolis patrol car, and the officer appears to be placing his weight on the man's neck.

The man groans in pain throughout the nine-minute clip, and repeatedly asks for help. He tells the officers that he cannot breathe and noting how "everything hurts." Bystanders who shot the video tell the officers that they can see the man's nose bleeding.

The bystanders ask the police to let up on the man, believing the officers were hurting him — even noting they might kill him. A second officer deflects those comments and then appears to mock the suspect, saying, "This is why you don't do drugs, kids."

Minneapolis Police have confirmed the FBI will be handling the case.

At a press conference Tuesday morning, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said "I believe what I saw … was wrong at every level," adding, "Being black in America should not be a death sentence. He should not have died."

Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo also spoke at the press conference, but did not address the video footage specifically.

The two Minneapolis officers involved in the arrest are on "relieved of duty status," but are still getting paid, Arradondo said.

Community activists are planning to protest Tuesday night.

N.Y.C. White Woman Apologizes After Calling Cops on Black Man Who Asked Her to Leash Her Dog

A verbal dispute over an unleashed dog has gone viral.

On Monday, a clip captured in New York City's Central Park generated attention on Twitter, showing a white woman calling the cops after another park-goer asked her to leash her dog, per park regulations.

The man who recorded the encounter, Christian Cooper, responded calmly as the woman told him, "I'm going to tell them there's an African American man threatening my life," while she dialed 911.

While she spoke to the New York City Police Department, her dog appeared to struggle as she held the pet by the collar, unable to get its footing on the ground.

"Please send the cops immediately," the woman said on the phone, standing a distance away from Christian.

The disgruntled woman was later identified as Amy Cooper, who apologized for the outburst when speaking to WCMH: "I sincerely and humbly apologize to everyone, especially to that man, his family."

"It was unacceptable," she continued, "and I humbly and fully apologize to everyone who’s seen that video, everyone that’s been offended … everyone who thinks of me in a lower light and I understand why they do."

"When I think about the police, I’m such a blessed person. I’ve come to realize especially today that I think of [the police] as a protection agency, and unfortunately, this has caused me to realize that there are so many people in this country that don’t have that luxury," said Amy.

The woman's employer, an investment management company called Franklin Templeton, said in a statement on Twitter that Amy has been put on administrative leave.

"We take these matters very seriously, and we do not condone racism of any kind," read the statement. "While we are in the process of investigating the situation, the employee involved has been put on administrative leave."

Speaking with Good Morning America on Tuesday, Christian said during the situation — before he began recording — he tried to lure the unleashed dog with treats to prevent it from roaming. No one was arrested after police responded to the call.

"They don't like it when you feed their dog treats," he said. "And she didn't like that at all. She immediately grabbed the dog, as you can see from the video, and started hauling it around by its collar."

On Facebook, the shelter Abandoned Angels Cocker Spaniel Rescue, Inc. said Amy adopted the dog "a few years ago," and after concerns raised from the video, she "voluntarily surrendered the dog in question to our rescue while this matter is being addressed."

"Our mission remains the health and safety of our rescued dogs. The dog is now in our rescue’s care and he is safe and in good health," said the shelter.

According to the Central Park website, dogs must be leashed at all times at The Ramble, the section of the property where the dispute happened.

PEOPLE's requests for comment to both Christian and Amy were not immediately returned.

Police in 3 States Launch Manhunt for 23-Year-Old Who Allegedly Murdered 2 Men

Authorities in three states are searching for a college student who allegedly murdered two people over the weekend.

On Friday, 23-year-old Peter Manfredonia, a senior at the University of Connecticut, allegedly left the scene of a murder in Willington, Connecticut, according to the Connecticut State Police. He was seen wearing dark clothes and considered armed and dangerous.

Police said Manfredonia — described as a 6-foot-3, 240-lbs. white man — was believed to be armed with "pistols and long guns" near the Osbornedale State Park in Derby, Connecticut, on Sunday. He was last seen near East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, at about 6 p.m. local time on Sunday.

According to the Hartford Courant, Manfredonia allegedly killed Ted DeMers, 62, and assaulted another man in Willington on Friday. DeMers' wife Cynthia told the outlet that the two men offered the suspect a ride as he was walking on the road. The unidentified man who survived the incident was described as having machete or sword wounds.

“It could have been anybody who offered him a ride,” said Cynthia. “It could have been any of my neighbors’ husbands. It just happened to be mine.”

Manfredonia is believed to have traveled by motorcycle and broke into a Willington resident's house, where he held the unharmed man against his will before leaving Sunday morning, according to the Courant. He stole three shotguns, a pistol and the man's truck.

The stolen truck was found crashed near the Osbornedale State Park in Derby, where police learned Manfredonia knew someone who lived nearby, according to the Associated Press. When they got to the acquaintance's home, authorities found Nicholas J. Eisele, 23, dead.

According to the Courant, Manfredonia allegedly kidnapped Eisele's girlfriend, stole a vehicle from their home, and fled the murder scene. The car was found abandoned at the New Jersey–Pennsylvania border, police said, and the woman was found safe, according to the outlet.

Anyone with information has been instructed to call Eastern District Major Crime at 860-896-3200. If seen, police said do not approach the suspect, and instead call 911.
