Coronation Street is gearing up for an explosive 60th anniversary which leads into an even more dramatic Christmas and New Year. It seems several residents secrets are about to be exposed, but in a massive plot twist, could Gary Windass (played by Mikey North) set Ray Crosby (Mark Frost) up for Rick Neelan’s (Greg Wood) death?
Gary has been walking the cobbles a free – but guilty man.
In upcoming scenes, however, Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) is determined to get revenge on her former partner and calls Crimestoppers.
Coronation Street fans will see her tell them where the corpse is and more importantly, who buried it.
As Gary busies himself at the furniture shop, he hears the latest news report on the radio; police are searching Beacon Woods for a body.
To add to Gary’s troubles, Bernie Winters (Jane Hazlegrove) was encouraged by Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) to go to the police and tell them about the watch.
She explains how Gary was desperate to get his hands on the watch and how she noticed the engraving on the back.
Realising he could potentially be carted off in handcuffs, Gary heads off to find Sarah and in an almighty confrontation, he accuses her of telling the police.
But Sarah vehemently denies any involvement.
In a bid to save himself from a life behind bars, will Gary plant evidence and frame his newest enemy?
The former builder was left seething when he found his little sister locked into the Bistro office with Ray.
Heading to the restaurant with the signed documents for Ray’s business development plan to succeed, Gary hears Faye Windass’ (Ellie Leach) muffled cries and demands the door is opened instantly.
His younger sibling emerges, tears streaming down her face and her blouse unbuttoned.

Faye flees the Bistro and when Gary returns home, Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) is trying to talking to her, but she refuses to go to the police and Gary realises he is going to have to deal with Ray in his own way.
Later that week, Faye tells Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) and Sally Webster (Sally Dynevor) she is no longer working for Ray at the Bistro – both are unaware of the real reason behind her decision.
Viewers will then see Faye take a moment for herself in Victoria Gardens, but the tranquillity is ruined by Ray’s arrival.
He demands to know what she is going to do about their situation, and Faye accuses him of trying to rape her.
Luckily, Maria arrives and sends Ray away, begging Faye to report him to the police before Gary gets to him.
But she is terrified her fling with Ray will be used as an excuse for his behaviour.
Will Gary set Ray up to take the blame for Rick’s death?
