CORONATION Street's Kate Ford is asking fans for £26 for a personalised video message.
The actress, 43, is the latest to join the celebrity shout-out app Cameo – after Sally Ann Matthews condemned her co-stars for charging fans.
Kate, who plays Tracey Barlow on the ITV soap, recently joined Cameo and is requesting £26.56 per video message.
Her bio reads: "Hi there it’s Kate ford aka Tracey Barlow !! Looking forward to all your message requests!"
She has posted several examples of her birthday shout-outs to Corrie fans.
In one clip, Kate says she hopes a fan is "enjoying the storylines" and talks about the cast returning to filming after their hiatus due to coronavirus.
Kate's bio also reveals she replies within three hours to video requests.
The soap star joins a long list of Weatherfield's finest in advertising their personal messages on Cameo.
Simon Gregson, aka Steve McDonald, sells messages for £30, as well as Ken Barlow actor William Roache, Sean Tully star Antony Cotton and Chris Gascoyne, who plays Peter Barlow.
Last month, Sally Ann Matthews – who plays Jenny Bradley – said celebs shouldn't be charging fans.
She told a viewer to write in if she wanted an autograph and added: “We do them for free!”
Sally added: “You should never pay for an autograph (or a video message come to that) x.”
A fan responded: “Exactly how it should be. Making cash from birthday messages is another issue for me. Don’t get me started.”
Sally, 49, replied: “Oh I hear ya”.
Simon Gregson’s wife Emma Gleave saw it as a dig at her hubby and posted: "Wow!!!! Nothing like sticking together with your work colleagues!”
She added in now-deleted tweets: “Grow a set of balls and tell ur cast members ur opinion [sic].”
The mother-of-three also said charities benefit from the videos Simon, 45, appears in.
