Dog the Bounty Hunter wishes late wife Beth a happy Mother’s Day just days after engagement to fiancée Francie Frane – The Sun

DOG the Bounty Hunter celebrated Mother’s Day early with a throwback photo of his late wife Beth Chapman from last year’s holiday.

Duane “Dog” Chapman’s emotional tribute comes just four days after The Sun exclusively revealed the reality star is engaged to fiancée Francie Frane.

The photo was taken on Mother’s Day 2019 – just one month before Beth passed away from throat cancer.

In the throwback, a smiling Beth soaked in a jacuzzi that was on a boat in the middle of the ocean.

The bail bonds woman wore a bikini along with a colorful flower crown.

“Last Mother’s Day!! Love you miss you Beth,” the grieving widower wrote of his beloved wife.

Beth and the long-haired TV personality were married for 13 years and were in a relationship long before they tied-the-knot.

Dog began dating his new fiancée earlier this year.

The couple met in 2019 when Dog called her husband Bob to do some yard work at his Colorado home.

A few months ago, Francie informed Dog that Bob had died of cancer shortly before Beth’s death and quickly began a relationship after staying in touch.

Earlier this week, The Sun revealed Dog, 67, got down on one knee and popped the question to Francie in a romantic candlelit proposal at his Colorado estate.

The pair have moved in with each other and have been spending quarantine living at Dog's house – and say they can't wait to bring all their family together for their big day.

The reality star says he's so happy he wants to have the "biggest wedding there's ever been" open to all his fans, in what he says will be "one hell of a party.”

Describing the romantic proposal, Francie, 51, said: "I wasn't expecting it at all.

"I think I had gone to pick up some food and then when I came back he had all the lights turned down with just a few lights on and a bunch of candles lit.

"So when I came in I was like, 'Wow, this is awesome'. Then he said, 'Come in, sit down because I need to talk to you’.

"So I put all the food in the kitchen and I came in and he said, 'I know that God brought you into my life and I don't want to spend one moment of it without you’."

Francie also revealed to The Sun that she'd never heard of the Discovery Channel star prior to dating and thought he "needed a haircut" when she first met him.

"We were in the hotel room and my girlfriend was listening to some worship music on YouTube and she said to me, 'Oh my gosh, Beth Chapman passed away two days ago. I had no idea. She had throat cancer.’

"And I said, 'Oh my gosh, that's so sucky. I hate cancer'. We had that conversation for a minute and then I said to her, 'Who's Beth Chapman?’

"And she goes, 'Dog The Bounty Hunter's wife, you don't know who that is?' And I was like, 'No, I don't know who Dog The Bounty Hunter is.’

"She said 'Are you joking? Everybody knows who Dog The Bounty Hunter is.’

"So she pulls up pictures of Duane and Beth and she holds the phone up to me and she said, 'This is Dog the Bounty Hunter, you know who he is.’

"And I looked at his picture and I say, 'I have no idea who that is – and that guy needs a haircut.’”
