Lorraine Kelly has shared a sneak preview of the emotional Strictly Come Dancing tribute for Caroline Flack.
The ballroom competition series will be remembering the late star – who won the competition in 2014 – in the Best Of The Final compilation show which will be broadcast tomorrow.
The episode will look back at highlights from the past 16 years of Strictly, before closing off with the poignant tribute to the Love Island host, who died by suicide on February 15 of this year.
Lorraine introduced a first look on her show alongside Ria Hebden, who explained: ‘Yes, they are doing a big tribute to Caroline, she picked up the glitterball back in 2014, and she is missed by everybody.
‘Over the weeks they’ve done Best Of episodes, so here is the lovely, moving tribute to Caroline.’
Footage and pictures of Caroline’s time on the show then appeared on screen, alongside touching messages from many Strictly stars.
Judge Bruno Tonioli said: ‘I loved Caroline, she was such fun. Great to be with, she really was a joy.’
Professional dancer Janette Manrara continued: ‘Caroline Flack, whenever she was around you, you couldn’t help but smile and laugh.’
Frankie Bridge, who competed alongside Caroline in the series, added: ‘You could tell that she just loved every moment of being on Strictly.’
Following the end of the tribute, Lorraine went on to say: ‘She was like a professional dancer, really really amazing, fantastic.’
Caroline won the coveted glitterball trophy with partner Pasha Kovalev in the 12th series, with the couple notably achieving a perfect 40 score for all of their dances in the final.
Pasha had previously appeared on Lorraine earlier in the week as he looked back at his time with Caroline on the show – and he had nothing but fond memories.
‘I loved dancing with Caroline,’ he said. ‘I think we brought something very special to the show when we were competing, and I think she absolutely deserved winning that year because she put everything she possibly had in her heart on the dance floor. It was spectacular.’
Strictly Come Dancing: The Best Of… The Final will be broadcast tomorrow at 8:10pm on BBC One, while Lorraine continues next Monday at 9am on ITV.
