Furious Jenny hits out at serial killer Stephen in Corrie

Away from the murders and dodgy businessman persona, Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) really wants to be with Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) in Coronation Street.

‘Jenny made it clear to him that whilst he was with Elaine there would be no chance for them. He realises that he probably shouldn’t have said that to her, so now he thinks he has to bide his time’, Todd Boyce previously told us.

‘He sees Jenny as the end goal, he has been insane about her from the moment they kissed.’

Of course, one of the major things that’s changed in recent weeks is the fact that Stephen is no longer with Elaine (Paula Wilcox), who chose to end their relationship after finding his fake life insurance documents and working out that he wasn’t someone to be trusted.

This has given Stephen the perfect opportunity to turn his focus back to Jenny, who recently faced heartbreak when she was told she needed to contact a developer about selling the Rovers Return.

After failing to fix the financial problems, Jenny tried to sell the pub to the Newton family but Henry (George Banks) gently told her there was no way they’d buy it.

Things then changed, as Henry told Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) that he’d consider saving the Rovers if she became his PA.

After a stressful few weeks, Stephen tries to cheer Jenny up in future episodes by inviting her to join him at a wine tasting event.

However, Jenny is less than pleased when she ends up at Lily’s (Brooke Malonie) birthday party that afternoon, but can Stephen win her round?

And if so, where will that leave businessman Owen (Ben Hull), who has been Jenny’s love interest and Stephen’s enemy for a while?

Could this lead to Owen’s jealousy increasing, potentially leading to danger if he tries to confront murderous Stephen Reid?
