As the one and only Silver Fox turns 62 today, Saturday, May 6, takes a look at where the original stars of ER are now.

Where are the cast of ER now?

Doug Ross – George Clooney

Pediatrician Doug Ross was ER’s heartthrob and a womaniser, not that he ever let his love life affect his work.

Actor George left midway through season five and earned two Emmy Award nominations for his role as Dr Ross.

After leaving the show, he went on to star in films like the Ocean’s trilogy, Good Night and Good Luck and O Brother, Where Art Thou which won him a Golden Globe for Best Actor in 2001.

He has since founded the tequila brand Casamigos with his friend Rande Gerber and got married to Lebanese-British barrister Amal Clooney in 2014.

Chief resident Mark Greene had a shocking exit when he died in season eight of a brain tumour.

Actor Anthony Edwards reportedly left ER so he could spend more time with his family but has remained in the entertainment business.

He won his first Emmy Award as an executive producer for the TV movie Temple Grandin in 2010 and produced the 2016 movie My Dead Boyfriend.

Edwards has also had parts Apple TV+ series WeCrashed and Netflix drama Inventing Anna.
