Hollyoaks lines up an emotional week, with heartbreaking news and heartfelt goodbyes on the cards as Juliet Nightingale’s (Niamh Blackshaw) last days draw near.

Metro.co.uk has plenty of pictures for the positively devastating week in question (June 5 to June 9), so if you’re keen for a first look, you’ve come to the right place.

Juliet, who is terminally ill with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, makes a bucket list of things that she’d like to do before she dies, with her loved ones rallying around her in a bid to make every one of her wishes come true.

Romeo (Owen Warner) joins forces with Damon Kinsella (Jacob Roberts) and Zara Morgan (Kelly Condron), hosting a special evening in Juliet’s honour at the Love Boat, with her favourite film set to be screened.

The evening in question doesn’t exactly go as one might’ve hoped, but that’s okay as Juliet has the time of her life, spending precious time with her nearest and dearest and sharing some fun stories in the process.

Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell), meanwhile, plans her own emotional surprise for Juliet, whose condition worsens towards the latter half of next week, taking her to the folly to create a special memory.

With assistance from Donna-Marie Quinn (Lucy-Jo Hudson), the nurse decorates the folly with photographs of happier times with Juliet, who is blown away by what she’s done.

In heartfelt scenes, Peri reads what she imagined to have been her wedding vows aloud to Juliet, having jotted them down following their special trip to Brighton in March.

Juliet, meanwhile, gives her girlfriend a memory to cherish forever when her favourite song begins to play, forcing herself to her feet to dance with Peri, as they envision what their future together should’ve entailed.

Grab the tissues, Hollyoaks fans, it’s going to be a heartbreaking one.

Hollyoaks airs these scenes between Monday, June 5 and Friday, June 9 at 7:30pm on Channel 4, or watch first from Friday June 2 on E4 and All4.
