Hollyoaks star Chelsee Healey has apologised for attending an illegal lockdown rave.
The actress — who portrays Goldie McQueen in the Channel 4 soap —took to her Instagram Stories to issue the apology, after images of her attending the rave were leaked.
In a caption, she wrote: ‘On Saturday I made a silly mistake!
‘I now realise it was stupid and irresponsible and I am truly sorry.’
Chelsee’s Hollyoaks co-star Malique Thompson-Dwyer — who portrayed her on-screen son Prince McQueen — also attended an illegal quarantine rave.
The actor filmed himself at the rave, where a 20-year-old man was confirmed to have died in a drugs-related incident.
Malique initially tweeted for people to ‘mind their business’ but in an Instagram Story, he said: ‘Yo, I’ve just come on here to give a quick message.
‘First of all, I apologise to anyone I may have offended, but let me just get one thing straight.
‘I’ve got family members who have actually passed away due to coronavirus so yo, I’m in this as well so don’t go on at me like I’m not in this as well.’
