Three days in to the series, Jordan asked his campmates if it was disgusting that he had not washed his pants even after challenges where he had maggots and cockroaches poured all over him. Shockingly, Vernon Kay and AJ Pritchard admitted they too had not washed their pants since they arrived – leading to ITV’s producers reportedly taking drastic action.
The celebs have been ordered to improve their hygiene and wash more, else they risk contracting an illness, it’s been reported.
Strictly Come Dancing was already blighted by health issues when Katya Jones tested positive for coronavirus, meaning she and her partner Nicola Adams were forced to leave the competition so they could self-isolate.
The Sun has reported ITV bosses are worried a similar thing could happen to I’m a Celebrity.
After the show made several changes to ensure it could run this year, including changing the location to Wales, and shortening the series to just three weeks, they’re taking extra precautions to stop Covid-19 ruining the series.
When campmates Beverley Callard and Hollie Arnold asked Jordan if he wanted anything washed earlier this week, he admitted he had not washed his underwear since he entered the castle.
“Usually at home I wear them once, in here we’ve just gone feral,” he explained.
Jessica Plummer was utterly disgusted, and said: “Jordan I love you but… You don’t need to wear one pair for three days.”
And she was not the only one horrified, as one viewer tweeted: “Jordan PLEASE change your pants we saw how much you were s**tting yourself last trial”.
“Not changed his pants in 3 days And how bad he’s nervous stomach was with the trial,” added another.
“The stench that must be permeating in @jordannorth1 ’s pants right now! #imaceleb,” despaired a third.
A fourth moaned: ”Eugh, @jordannorth1 and @vernonkay are dirty boys, not changing your pants?? You’ve had bugs in them.”
Express has contacted a rep for ITV for comment.

ITV recently had to speak out against claims the show’s producers helped Jordan out in last night’s Trapped Door challenge.
He could not find the twelfth and final star but later found it in his pocket after the trial.
Some viewers had tweeted about their confusion as Jordan searched everywhere for the star, before finding it when he was counting out each one, after he had finished.
One viewer tweeted: “Anyone else notice Jordan never put that last star in his bag and it was never even in the hole?”
Another wondered: “So anyone figured out how the last star got into Jordan’s bag or are we just gonna ignore that?”
“Not having this #ImACeleb Jordan fully didn’t put that star in his bag,” complained a third.
But ITV denied the claims and told Mirror Online: “Jordan won all 12 stars fair and square, any suggestion to the contrary is untrue.”
