Bling Empire: Netflix release trailer for new reality show
Bling Empire is a new reality show which has taken Netflix by storm and fans are already eager for a second season. The series delves into the personal affairs of some of the most wealthy Asians living in LA and fans learn of how they live. Following its success, viewers are keen to know whether the show is real or if it is scripted.
Is Bling Empire real?
Bling Empire has just arrived on Netflix and the series falls in the same category as shows like Selling Sunset.
The series was inspired by the film Crazy Rich Asians and it gives viewers insight into a group of friends and their luxurious lives.
All of the friends are either entrepreneurs or heirs to a huge fortune, and the world is their oyster.
The series is full of drama and scandal as viewers witness relationship troubles and practical jokes.
Kevin Kreider and Kane Lim star in the series and Kane was one of the leading lights behind its creation.

Kane said he wanted people to understand how real rich Asian families live after watching the Crazy Rich Asians film.
Like most reality TV shows, the majority of what fans see is real-life but there are some elements of staging involved.
For example, one particular scene showed some of the cast discovering a sex toy at Anna Shay’s home during a party.
Many fans believed the embarrassing scenario was set up but separate cast members confirmed the story as genuine.
There is some element of planning behind the show as a few of the cast members were brought together by producers.
With this in mind, some of their connections may not be as genuine as people may think.
Kevin and Kane have known each other for a while, with Kevin saying Kane was the first person he met when he moved to LA two years ago.
He had been interested in Buddhism and turned to Kane for advice, and they became friends from there.
Kane has also known Kelly Mi Li for many years and she helped him come up with the initial idea for the show.
Meanwhile, Anna previously said she has no experience with reality shows and would often roll with what was playing out in front of her.

Mary Fitzgerald children: Selling Sunset star admits babies on pause [INTERVIEW]
Like Selling Sunset and other reality shows, if anything of interest stands out the cast may be asked to reenact it or expand on it.
Jeff Jenkins is one of the executive producers on Bling Empire and he also helped produce the reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Jenkins had been friends with Andrew Gray and some of the other cast before the series.
Speaking of the iconic sex toy scene, he told OprahMag.com how was it “1,000 percent real and unexpected and insane”.
This being said, some post-production edits have been made as some scenes have clearly been moved around to create better storylines.
Christine Chiu admitted she had “played up” some of her scenes, so there will always be elements of acting involved.
While the series is not fully scripted, some of the episodes have probably been edited to create more drama.
The friendships between the cast have since become genuine and all the cast members admitted while they may not have been best of friends, to begin with, they are now very close.
They are hoping Netflix will consider the series for a second season and fans are right behind them in supporting this.
