Jill Duggar thanks parents for gifts days after snubbing their birthday shout out during family feud – The Sun

JILL Duggar thanked her parents for their birthday presents days after she snubbed their shoutout amid the family’s ongoing feud.

Jill, 29, has been on the outs with her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, after her husband, Derick Dillard, 31, accused the patriarch of withholding money for their appearances on the family’s reality show Counting On.

On Wednesday, the mom of two posted on her Instagram Story: “Thank you @duggarfam for the @tacobell dinner and the b’day gifts today!”

The post came days after Jill didn’t comment or like her parents’ birthday shoutout on Instagram.

The sweet post read: “Happy birthday, Jill! I remember the day you were born like it was yesterday. You were the happiest little baby, and always had a smile on your face!”

The TLC star continued: “From the time you were young, you’ve always been outgoing and have made friends easily.

“You care deeply for others, and people feel this! You desire to share the love and hope of Christ, whether at home or on the mission field.”

The post ended with: “You are a loving wife and such a fun mom to your boys. We are so grateful for you!”

Jill didn’t wish her mom a Happy Mother’s Day earlier this month, despite wishing her one the year prior.

In addition to the salary claims, Derick has also alleged over social media that they are not allowed in the Duggar family home without Jim Bob’s permission.

The law school student even revealed he is writing a tell all about the situation.

Since the feud, Jill and Derick have been absent from family gatherings, including Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Jill also skipped out on her sister-in-law Abbie’s baby shower and sister Joy-Anna’s gender reveal.

The couple has also broken the family’s strict rules.

They enrolled their oldest son, Israel, 5, in public school instead of homeschooling him.

They also allow Israel and younger son Samuel, 2, to listen to rave music.

Jill went against the family's conservative dress code by piercing her nose and wearing pants.

Derick said in a recent interview that he and Jill left Counting On to "avoid toxic relationships” and to “regain control.”
