Big Brother champion Kate Lawler says she felt like she'd been "hit by a bus" during the first trimester of her pregnancy.
The 40-year-old reality star and her fiancé Martin welcomed their first child last month, and the pair are now parents to a gorgeous baby girl.
Noa Daisy Ilse was born during the early hour of February 11 and the lead up to her arrival will be part of a brand-new MTV show which follows six celebrity couples on they bumpy rides to coming parents.
The baby's arrival
Speaking to Daily Star at the Celebs Bumps: Famous and Pregnant press day before Noa's birth, Martin shared the reason why he and Kate signed up for the fly-on-the-wall series.
He explained: "We already do a podcast called Maybe Baby so when MTV approached Kate it just seemed a natural thing to do as we'd already invited people in to be part of the process.
"It seemed to make sense to have something for our daughter to watch in the future."
Fans will witness the highs and lows that come before the big milestone from baby scans to baby showers to the magic moment to bringing the newborn home.
Opening up about the early stages of her pregnancy, Kate said: "I felt like I was hit by a bus in the first trimester.
"I was just sleeping all the time but still trying to work Monday to Friday and we were moving house as well.
"The second part of the pregnancy was a joy and only the last couple of weeks I've felt uncomfortable."
Like other expecting mums across the world, Kate was unable to see her nearest and dearest during the build up to baby Noa's arrival due to coronavirus lockdown restrictions.
She explained: "Obviously not having family and friends around physically has been pretty tough.
"We're not the only ones in the situation so we've been making the most of it and doing Facetimes."
New dad Martin, who she calls Boj, didn't want to know the gender of their unborn child before her arrival but the Big Brother champion couldn't wait to find out.
"He didn’t want to find out but at the end of the day I’m giving him a baby," Kate joked.
"We were at the early scan and they asked if wanted to know and he said no, I said yes.
"I don’t think I could have waited. I think it’s amazing that people can wait to find out but in a way I’m glad I found out I was having a girl because when I talk to my bump I feel like I talk to a girl."
As well as enjoying chatting to her belly, Kate revealed that she enjoyed watching her body change during her pregnancy.
The Virgin Radio DJ said: "I've loved seeing my body change. I’m naturally quite slim so I enjoyed seeing myself grow and get bigger.
"I never thought my bump would get this big and there has been lots of weird changes."
