KATIE Price and Peter Andre’s son Junior has hit back at nepo-baby claims, saying his pop career is down to “hard work.”
The 18-year-old explained that his parents may well be famous, but he wouldn’t be where he is today if he wasn’t “good at what he does.”
The star has started to follow in his dad's musical footsteps after he signed a deal with Columbia Records two years ago.
But slamming nepo-baby claims, Junior spoke to The Sun ahead of the launch of his new single, and said: “At the end of the day I wouldn’t be doing well if I wasn’t good.
“I do whatever I want to do and I’m following my dreams. I work hard and I can only do as good as I can.”
Junior has had some advice from Mysterious Girl singer dad Peter though, adding: “Dad is always telling me to remain grounded and humble and spread love and positivity and be respectful to other people and enjoy what I do.”

Junior said he’s “not getting ahead of himself” and wants to put a lot of hard work in to make his career “really take off.”
He continued: “I am a perfectionist so I do always feel like I could do better.”
