Liberty X star Michelle Heaton has reportedly joined the cast of Dancing on Ice 2023.

The 43-year-old pop icon will apparently join the likes of Pasty Palmer and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu on the ITV show.

A source told The Sun: A source said: “Michelle really impressed the Dancing On Ice team and they were delighted to be able to offer her a place on this year’s show.

“Michelle has been through a lot over the past few years and she has overcome a lot to make it this far.

“She wants to push herself and make her children proud of her."

Fans will be seeing a lot of Michelle on their screens over the next few months as she's also reportedly signed up to take part in Channel 4's Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

The mother-of-two recently celebrated being 17 months sober after a battle with alcohol.

She said previously told the publication: "There was a time when I was being put forward for TV shows but I wasn’t in a fit state to be doing them.

"In hindsight it was probably for the best thing that could have happened for me.

"I would never have been able to do them properly when I was drinking.

"I am in a really healthy place right now both mentally and physically and I am the happiest and healthiest I’ve ever been.

"This is a really good time for me to show people how far I have come on my journey and where I am right now."

The news that Michelle will appear on the ITV ice-skating show comes after it was confirmed Ekin-Su was braving the ice when the series returns in the new year.

Ekin-Su confessed that she couldn't wait to get stuck in and dedicate herself to training hard with her professional partner in the new year.

Speaking to presenters Susanna Reid and Ed Balls on Wednesday's (October 5) edition of GMB, Ekin-Su gushed: "Hi Good Morning Britain, it's Ekin-Su here today.

"I've got some amazing news to tell you – I will be doing this year's Dancing on Ice.
