LOOSE Women star Kaye Adams said she'd give Carol McGiffin a "slap" after she took a savage swipe at her co-stars.
On Thursday's episode, Strictly star Kaye was joined by Carol, Brenda Edwards and Nadia Sawalha to talk about how long it takes to turn an acquaintance into a friend.
Discussing new research for the perfect friendship formula, Kaye said: "11 interactions, each lasting three hours and four minutes, over five and a half months, 34 hours."
Carol explained: "I do think there is a fine line between friend and acquaintance."
Nadia piped up: "Are we your friends Carol?"
Dropping the brutal revelation, she replied: "I wouldn't class you as friends."
The panel were left roaring with laughter at her snub, but Carol explained: "I spend more time with you than I spend with some of my greatest friends.
"Some of my friends I've known for 34/40 years, and we stay in touch, and we meet up."
Kaye interjected: "We've known each other for 20 years."
"I know but I don't call you every day…okay you're a friend," Carol succumbed.

While Brenda admitted: "There are different layers of friendships, sometimes two or three times a day and then you've got that friend that you probably speak to like twice a week," Brenda admitted.
"You're my work acquaintances and I love you all."
Nadia said that the real key to a good friendship is being interested in someone.
But Carol disagreed and said: "The bottom line is, if you stop working together, would you stay friends, and the answer is probably no."
The audience gasped as Carol explained: "To be honest we probably wouldn't stay friends."
Nadia then revealed that she was left fuming after Strictly co-host Claudia Winkleman made a slip-up on Saturday night's show.
She said: "The other night on Strictly I was so annoyed, I had travelled for miles across the train strikes and then Claudia called me a colleague, but it's so weird to be called a colleague."
Before wrapping up the segment, Kaye quipped that she was going to "give Carol a slap" after her cheeky admission.
