Maya Jama teases new Love Island series
The wait is finally over as the highly anticipated ITV dating show is returning on Monday night.
As 10 sexy singletons get ready to enter the villa, Love Island fans are prepared to witness a summer of drama, friendships, make-ups, brutal dumpings and of course love.
However, there’s one islander who has already admitted that there’s one particular thing about him that could be a problem during his time on the show.
24-year-old Tyrique Hyde is hopeful that he’ll walk away from the show with a girl on his arm, although it may not be smooth sailing.
When speaking to Express.co.uk and other media publications ahead of entering the villa, he touched on whether or not his head could be turned.
When asked if he’s known for having a ‘wandering eye’ when it comes to girls, the 24-year-old confessed he does.
He replied: “I’ve been known to have a wandering eye, I do have a wandering eye.
“I feel like, if I do genuinely have a connection and do like someone I feel like I’ve just got to weigh up how much I do like them.
“If I feel like I like them a lot and I feel like this really could go somewhere then I feel like I’ll stay to be honest.

“But, if I feel like I may have a better connection with a bombshell, then I’ve got to know both of them really and make a decision.
“So yeah, a wandering eye could be a problem in there.”
It looks as though the semi-professional footballer isn’t going to be one to hold back on going for what he wants either as he admitted he won’t be scared to tread on anyone’s toes.
He added: “To be honest with you, I don’t really care about stepping on anyone’s toes if I’m being brutally honest.

“I feel like in life you’ve just got to go for what you want you know? The one thing about me is I’m going to go for what I want and shoot my shot.
“No problem stepping on people’s toes basically.”
Will Tyrique cause a stir when he enters the villa? Or will ITV2 viewers see him “settle down” from the get-go?
