LAST week world renowned DJ and dance music institution Pete Tong, Jules Buckley & The Heritage Orchestra unloaded into London’s empty O2 Arena to record a once in a lifetime edition of their annual sell-out show ‘Ibiza Classics’.
‘O Come All Ye Ravers’ is the first ever global live stream event filmed from the floor of the iconic 20,000 capacity venue and the first music to have been played in the space since it closed its doors in March. Pete says:
“2020, our whole year has been lost, no tours no shows no exceptions. We can’t be together in clubs or concert arenas BUT we can still put on a show for you. We’re going to perform from the floor of The O2 arena and broadcast it right into your homes. The rave will be back one day but for now we are going to make the most of what we have.”
The spectacular visuals created for this special event has revisited Ibiza Classics for 2020 and has been meticulously curated to bring the rave straight directly into people’s homes.
What is usually a sell-out show and an annual Christmas tradition at The O2, can now be enjoyed by everyone at home with tickets priced at £15.
As the voice of Radio 1’s prestigious dance programming, Pete Tong has held a commanding presence over the global dance music industry for more than two decades. With an unparalleled ear for new talent, Tong is the leading tastemaker of the electronic generation.
Pete Tong presents Ibiza Classics with The Heritage Orchestra and Jules Buckley was held at The O2 arena for the first time in December 2016 and has returned to sell-out crowds each year since.
