PIERS Morgan has been made a laughing stock because of his attempt at cooking in lockdown – by revealing his basic first recipe.
The Good Morning Britain presenter, 55, took to Instagram to show off his simple choice of breakfast earlier this morning.
To start his day, Piers prepared two pieces of toast, a generous serving of baked beans and washed it down with a lovely cup of tea.
Obviously very proud of his creation, the telly favourite shared the masterpiece with his 1.2 million followers – and they were less than impressed.
He captioned the post: "Lockdown’s got so boring I’ve started cooking."
Some of his famous celebrity pals couldn't help but notice that it doesn't take much skill to heat up some tinned beans and pop some bread in the toaster.
GMB co-star Charlotte Hawkins couldn't believe what she was seeing and commented: "I’m not sure beans on toast count as cooking?! 😂😂"
Meanwhile telly personality Katie Piper wrote: "Oh dear- think I need to come over and cook for you."
The picture even caught the eye of Towie star Mark Wright – who couldn't help but notice the plate was missing one thing and said: "Where’s the grated cheese? Get that and it’s a winner."
Over 900 other followers flocked to the comments section to let him know their thoughts too, and they certainly didn't hide how they felt.
One wrote: "That is not cooking."
Another questioned: "Cooking ?"
A third joked: "Wow ! Celebrity Masterchef will be calling you soon 🤣."
A fourth chimed in: "That’s not cooking @piersmorgan we could do with an extra hand at the school kitchen I work in today. You ready to make cookies?"
His post comes just 24 hours after he faced criticism on yet another Instagram post.
Piers shared a snap of himself smoking a fat cigar in the comfort of his lounge yesterday afternoon.
He captioned the post: "Montecristo time. ."
Fans were quick to attack the star for smoking indoors.
One person wrote: "Not in the house!!!!!! 🤬😪🤬"
Another added: "God I can smell it from here 😂😂😂"
A third remarked: "OMG that room must stink 😂"
